I'm starting the dance early- August 26ers

We got stinky travel times. We don't leave Philly till 3:50pm. That means we arrive after 6pm. :sad2: A wasted day. The day we leave is even worse....9:30am! Another wasted day.:confused3 That is what I get for waiting one day to book so that my DH can think on it. You will be checked in and having fun by the time we get there! LOL! Dang you will be at the hotel before we even board the plane!

I see why you are leaving on the 3rd. We are leaving on the 2nd but our flight doesn't leave until 8:50pm. We should get back to NY at 1130pm. By time we get to the hotel, we have to go to AK for our 6pm reservation at Boma. Then we will either go to MK- they have EMH that night or to DTD - Disney Quest. I have a feeling we will be going to DTD.

I don't think we are going to do the park. We will have to think about dinner once we arrive. So we are debaiting on staying at the hotel and just swimming and doing dinner. Or heading into DTD too. I am thinking the hotel and swimming sounds good myself. LOL!

Down to 4 days now, and I just had to post again because I am getting so excited! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I am going this time with a friend who has never been to WDW before, so I get to show off my expertise! :thumbsup2

I am almost all packed except for the stuff I will be needing to use before we go. I even got new shoes! Just have to pack my carry-on bag and then sit back and wait...the hardest part! popcorn::

Laundry:laundy: , pack:mickeyjum , laundry:laundy: , pack:mickeyjum,Laundry:laundy: , pack:mickeyjum ...pack:mickeyjum .....pack:mickeyjum.....pack:mickeyjum!!!!!! Tink where are you?? I could use some help right about now!:tink:

I have to finish my laundry too and pray that it dries. My dryer isn't working and the weather is awful here. The only stuff I packed so far is all the medications that I'm going to bring like my allergy stuff, tylenol and stuff in case the kids get colds. Oh yeah, I overpack. :rotfl: I think I'm behind you guys so I better get going with the packing. My DH has it so easy. He throws his underwear, a few shirts and pants in the suitcase and he's all done. I'm the one who has to make sure everything else is packed.

I just came back from the dentist because a filling fell out last Friday and I didn't want anything interfering with eating my free food, so I made sure it got fixed.:lmao: The best part is that they fixed it for free because I guess this dentist saw that the first one didn't do a good job, so now I can use the money I expected to use today at Disney! :cool1:

So now I still have to pack and then do my nails. DH has to buy more cat litter because we don't have any at all and we have to fill up 3 litter boxes while we're gone. If we don't, Dusty will pee on the couch like she did last time the pans weren't clean enough for her. He also has to do the lawn because I don't want to come back to a house that looks like a huge mess.

I went to the dentist last week.:lmao: I did my nails today. Tomorrow is feet. Still need the ponchos and the batteries. I was going to park my car at the long term parking lot. After I saw how much that costs over $200:scared1: I decided to park it at the Precinct and take a cab to the airport. Only $32 including toll. :thumbsup2

Gals it's almost that time:banana: We are almost there.:cloud9:

$200 for parking! :scared1: Yeah, take a cab. :thumbsup2

Hopefully we are getting a car service near my house that advertises JFK for $25 in their window. We'll see how much they actually charge when they show up.

Yeah I was going to do carmel cab service but it will cost about $40. Its an extra 5 bucks for living above 125 St. So $32 for tolls included works for me.

Where will you get the ponchos? Can seem to find them anywhere.

Walmart sells them for 99 cents in the camping section or you can buy the fancy ones if you're a poncho snob! Just kidding!

I got mine in Target near the camping stuff. They were a little less than $1 each. I don't know if you live anywhere near my neck of the woods, but a little store on Flatbush Ave in Marine Park called Sarelli's had a bunch of clear ones in a 2 pack for $1.

I got mine at Walmart too! And the dollar store. I am ready for the rain!:lmao:

We are doing long term in Philly and it is $9 a day. Still comes to be about $80 something but better than $200!! DH wants his sister to drive us there so we won't have to even pay that. We own a 7 passanger minivan. YOu know....one of those without a trunk!!!! There is already 5 of us (one with a carseat). Add a driver, that is 6. If she brings her boyfriend, that is 7. We have 6 large suitcases and carryons. Where does he plan on sticking all this?:confused3 :sad2:

OMG a miracle:cheer2: My hubby is doing the laundry:laundy: I wonder what brought that on. I could have almost fell over in my chair.:lmao: One less thing for me to do. :thumbsup2

Ladies we have 3 days to get everything accomplished. See I say ladies. Hubbies just follow along as we do all the planning. All he asks is what day are we leaving and when are we coming back. Oh the only input is he did is where he wanted to eat.

Another miracle, the sun came out so the laundry that is hanging on the line will dry! Now I can pack the rest of the underwear and stuff.

I spent the whole morning looking for my camera battery charger. I was frantic and asked DH if he touched and and he swore he didn't. I finally found it in the closet in my dining room (thank you St. Anthony!!!). If he didn't touch it, I guess it just jumped in there by itself! He's lucky I found it because I was just about to get another one sent overnight from Amazon and it would have cost over $60! :scared1:

I didn't realize that I have so much left to pack and I still feel like I'm going to forget something.

:goodvibes I am so grateful to my hubby. He actually washed the clothes. I packed my son's suitcase on the sly. :happytv: He is so into High School Musical 2 right now, he isn't even paying attention. :rolleyes1 He says he wants to go to Disney to the cast of the show. Like they are really there. Little does he know we are going. All my underclothes are on the dresser so I can pack my stuff when he goes to bed. Just need batteries and the ponchos. Saw them for 3 dollars each but I think I can get them cheaper.

I can so relate!!!! Although my DH just finished up with summer session for college:teacher: so, I will give him a little break!!:rotfl2:

I have both DD half packed and they are now trying to clean their rooms:scared1: before we leave!! I think DD10 has come downstairs 4 times in the past hour...avoiding the room will not make it go away:lmao:

I, on the other hand, am finishing up with:laundy: and figuring out what DH & I need to get together to get all packed. I did get tomorrow off so that will help with the last minute stuff:thumbsup2

See you all in 3 days:yay: :yay: :cheer2:

I am going in to work tomorrow. Trying to get there at 6am so I can leave at 1pm. So off to bed I go now. Will chat tomorrow.
