After spending the last two summers vacationing at PBH in USO, I've been spoiled. In one week, we're venturing back to WDW for our vacation. I love Disney, but I have to admit that spending a week at USO will spoil you. I loved the hotel, the closeness of the parks, and most importantly, FOTL! :thumbsup2 Now, for all of you who then visit WDW after experiencing USO, how do you deal with the lines and the crowds and the busses?! I'm afraid it will be a shock going back there now. I will use the FPs but I still think nothing compares to FOTL. Wish me luck!

I have to admit that the wasting of time at WDW drives me insane. Last vacation we stayed at the WL for one night and spent about 1.5 total hours waiting in line for the bus. We used as many fastpasses as possible but we still had to wait in line quite a bit. I find that one day at Disney out of a 7 day vacation, is plenty.

One thing that USO has over WDW are the things you mentioned: FOTL access and the how close the hotels are to the park. WDW cannot offer those things based on the number of on-site guests and the size of the property. But that old Disney magic makes it bearable.:)

Honestly, we spend most of our time walking around talking about how we wouldn't have to wait in line at Universal. We really don't ride many rides anymore, but rather walk around and enjoy the little things that most people miss because they are rushing to wait in line. But we also don't have children, so you might not be able to do that.

Good luck to you!! US/IOA has spoiled us with FOTL. We don't even like going to Six Flags here because of the lines, and Disney is worse. We've done less and less of Disney because of the lines. I'd rather spend my time at UO/IOA with the FOTL access or spend time relaxing at the resort than waiting in line. Last year we went the Tuesday before Tday thinking it wouldn't be as bad as if we waited for Tday or the day/weekend after, we were wrong. It was super busy there, took us 1 1/2 hours to get on It's A Small World, other rides were just as bad, waited 20 minutes in line for the rest room, and 1 hour to meet Snow White.

No thank ya! My kids said they didn't need to do Disney this year, the wait is just to long to get on the rides. My best advice, go early and do as much as you can then, the park wasn't as bad before lunch, after lunch it was a mob scene. :rolleyes1

Ha. My friend and I went to Universal for 4hrs (friend got called in to work) and since we were staying at the RPR got to enjoy the Express privilege.

We went to WDW the next day and just found ourselves skipping many rides due to long lines, but still had fun.

I know, everytime we head back to Orlando, we have to do Disney first,
then Universal/IOA
Cause if you have FOTL first, then Disney, that would not be good :headache: :lmao:
