The neuros office just called and they moved up my appointment! I go in 2 weeks now instead of 2 months!
Plus, They are going to see me in their local office here so I don't have to drive an hour.
That's so cool. She said that since they are aggresive in treating MS they want to get me started with tests right away so if it is that I can get treatment sooner.
I love Drs. like this! LOL

Mickyboat-sorry we're not going to be able to do lunch. I was looking forward to that

That's great news, Cathy! I am disappointed we won't meet, but maybe another time. I can't wait to hear about your appointment.

Cathy,

I'm so happy that they moved your appointment up. It sure is frustrating when something's wrong and you have to wait for answers.

Hoping that it's not MS, but that you DO get a diagnosis for what you're dealing with.

That IS great news! What a relief for you that you can get to the bottom of it that much sooner.

One of my sisters was recently telling me about a new MS medication that is oral. Whoa would that be an improvement over the injectibles!

It's not really for MS per se. They use various other oral drugs to reduce the symptoms, not necessarily treat the problem. For example, oral steroids to reduce inflammation; muscle relaxers; and medications for fatigue. Unfortunately, the majority of treatments still require injections in some form (either weekly, monthly, or through IVs).
