I'm so glad I'm the MOM!!!

DH just called from the Boy Scout Campout in New York. He and DS are sleeping ON a frozen lake. There's 24 inches of ice - and the actual temperature last night was -10º, this morning's temp was -7º!

They are sleeping in tents with no cots!

He said someone had brought a hot tub onto the ice and was filling it up with water. His batter on the phone died before he could tell me how the guy would heat it - I'm guessing a generator??

I wish I could get to my Hot Tub. There is so much snow on my deck I would probably break my neck trying to get to it. It is so much fun to set in the HT while it is snowing.

Man, your son and husband are sure going to ache when they get home.

Ummmm.... well, that would be one way to lose some needed weight - as I am sure that over half of my body would probably been frozen to the side of the hot tub when I attempted to climb out!
