Groovee and me leaving it to 100 days before to tell DD and DS

Telling the kids with 100 days to go. I've made a video inviting them to go. So only 23 days til that. Desperate to tell them now.

Ah that's awesome! How old are they? I surprised DD with a trip in 2010 when she was 8 and she still talks about it regularly as the best 'dream' ever. I know the impatient feeling, lol. I booked in late April 2009 and we went in October 2010 for that one and the only people who knew were those on the DIS. Even my colleagues and parents thought we were going to Tenerife And after keeping quiet all that time, on the day I was going to tell her I was overcome by paranoia that I might inadvertently let it slip before I was supposed to!

I know the feeling (although not the telling the kids part ) - balance has just been paid, car parking purchased and Gatwick hotel just booked.

It's becoming all so very 'real' now It's definitely getting me through Finals revision!!

in 2009 we surprised them with a trip to Lapland. We had planned to tell them at the airport but dd got upset and we had to tell them the day before. They were so shocked but we never filmed it.

If they didn't need a day off school to go I'd have kept up the secret but I also want them to be part of the planning.

We paid our balance the other day too, bought some dollars and booking travel tonight. All that's left now is Universal tickets and Photopass+. I really cant wait now
