Well,y'all are going to think I'm a little looney

But, the leak was not as bad as we thought and plumber fixed it for a small charge. We are going to have to replace pipes eventually but we found a cheaper way to do that too! DH is going to do a lot of the prep and clean up.

Yeah!

Ma and DH are down in Fort Myers picking up the TT right now. Mom and I are splitting the cost and they are going to use it in the winter and a couple of trips this summer. I want to travel with them anyway, so it is a plus for everyone. Mom just retired and they can travel a little easier with their dog.

Anyway, I'm back baby!

Oh, forgot to add Ma got the salesperson to come down another $1,000 to get the deal done and that was also motivational.

We're planning October 6th - 12th. But it won't be official until I make the ressies. DH and I are going to go alone for the first few days for our 9th anniversary. I said 10th before somewhere else, but it's 9. Anyway Ma and Pa and the two DDs will join us on Thursday or Friday.

When DH pulled it up next to the house last night I couldn't believe how big it looked out of the RV dealership parking lot! It is a beautiful things DD's are so excited about the summer at the campground, even the 15 yo. I'm more excited about six months of planning for my first trip to FW.

That's so exciting!! We just got our TT last summer and spent many weekends using it. In fact, I think we were home only 3 weekend all summer. You'll be having sooooo much fun!!

Wow, this certainly has been a rollercoaster. I suppose you will enjoy and appreciate the TT all the more considering it almost fell away. Congratulations, and I hope to see that Conquest out on the road someday!

Congratulations on the new rig. We had a similiar situation last summer when we got our new one...I wanted a different one...rest of the family wanted another. They won. It didn't take long for me to love it as well.

We're pullling out in the morning for a Spring Break trip. I can't wait!

Have to confess I love the sound of diesel knocking...reminds me of camping every time.

I'm already planning to spend the summer at a local campground for the store and stay program. It keeps the kids entertained for the summer and is the perfect escape 20 minutes from home.


What is this? I am in Fort Myers and am interested in this...

It's Riverside in Arcadia and it is great. Prices during the store n stay which run from May through Oct. We paid $235 a month which allows you to leave your RV on a site for the month and includes 4 nights. Extra nights are $31.

They have a great kids program. On major holidays they have kareoke and live music at the pools during the day. It is a very nice, very clean campground.
