I'm So Excited..we Don't Have To Drive!

We started planning our May 07 trip back in August! All along we've had plans to drive down from Pennslyvania because paying for 5 to fly wasn't in our budget. We just found out my husband's work made their bonus for the quarter and he's getting enough money for us to FLY!!!! I am so so so happy! I can't wait to book my Magical Express!

We usually drive to Disney - but coming from Ontario that adds a lot of time as well. This year we are flying for the first time and I am really looking forward to it

That's funny...we've always flown from MA and we drove for the first time in September and will do so again. We had the BEST time!

Flying is quicker though. Have a great time!

We will be driving down from Cleveland in February, since flying isn't an option for the DW!

Thats so funny- we usually drive too (from NY) b/c we can't afford to fly our family of 5. However this year I got a ding and air cost us 547 rt for the five of us So, now we're flying for just a little more than in costs us in gas & supplies to drive down.

We will be making our third trip this June. We always drive. We stay off-site, and I really enjoy having a car. We do like doing some non-disney stuff on a couple of off days.

Well the best part is that my parents are driving down since my mom hates to fly...they are going to take our luggage so we won't have any worries with it!

I love flying!! It's kind of funny. Every time we go, we fly from a little bit closer to home The first time we flew (4 years ago), we drove to Dallas (3 hours away) and flew out of DFW. That was almost as much of a hassle as driving all the way to Orlando. So last year when we went, we flew out of Shreveport (a little over an hour away). This year, rates are the same for flying out of Texarkana as they are for Shreveport!! So, we'll be driving about 8 miles to the airport this year!!

Good for you! I'm also in PA (Bucks County) and on our last trip took the train(never again!) because a bunch of us are too scared to fly. Funny, I actually lobbied really hard for a drive down, but the non-scaredy cats among us waved bye-bye on their way to the airport. I'm glad your wish came true...have a wonderful trip!
