I'm scared to try Rose and Crown

I've always wanted to but many of the menu items don't appeal to me. I'm not very picky, I just don't like the menu. But I looked recently and noticed that they have steak. Is the stake decent? I'd love to go and have a pint or two and enjoy Illuninations.

We loved the R&C for dinner. The steak was good, the Yorkshire Pudding was great and the desserts were even better. You have to try the Scotch Egg, just to say you did.

We loved the R&C for dinner. The steak was good, the Yorkshire Pudding was great and the desserts were even better. You have to try the Scotch Egg, just to say you did.

Hmmm...What's the Scotch egg? Or will that ruin the surprise ?

Traditionally, breaded pork sausage meat wrapped around an egg. Very tasty and filling, usually eaten as a snack or as part of lunch

The steaks we have had there have been very good!

The steaks there are just steaks. No fancy sauces, no perfect cuts. I liked it because it was pretty straight forward. Shrimp cocktail for appy Steak and fish for entree. Half and Half for to quench the Florida thirst.

Steak was the worst we had on property during our last trip and R&C our least favorite restaurant (ate at R&C, 'Ohana, Teppan Edo, Be Our Guest, Yachtsman, Cape May and Mama Melrose).

It sounds like you are into meat. Try the cottage pie- meat and potatoes British style. I swear it's delicious. The Sticky toffee pudding is good too (dessert).

I found the steak at R&C to be flavorless. Their fish & chips however is wonderful.

I've added it to my list . The only problem is our trip isn't until next December, but I am going to try it. I really appreciate all the feedback!
