My winter is broken up by birthday cakes. One of my girls has a birthday tomorrow, and I have mine, my 40 in the middle of Feb. My sisters bd is in march.

I'm so ready for spring and summer. Lovely weather and it will be so nice to swap the sweaters, boots and jackets for t-shirts, strappy shoes and no jackets.

Laurie, my winter is also broken up by birthdays!!! Mine (the big 50 is tomorrow ), my youngest DS's is Feb 7th and middle DS's is March 5th.

I DO so look forward to spring tho because my body sure notices the cold more now, especially that wind!!!

I like t-shirt weather, I don't even mind sweater weather, but this is ridiculous, and my temps aren't as bad as a lot of you out there.

I hope anyone who has to work in this is able to get out of it often. I remember all to well having to be outside no matter what, and I really feel for anyone who can't stay inside and warm.

Kitty, in case I forget tomorrow, happy birthday! Do you have anything special planned?

It didn't get above zero here yesterday and the wind chill was in the minus 50 degree range all day. I had to walk our dog last night and I was thinking that it HURTS to be outside when it's this cold out and I would much rather have it at 90 degrees and humid than this. At least it doesn't hurt when you go outside! Bring Spring on NOW!!!!

Yes. Bring on the Spring!! PLEASE!! not to mention that I heard the word snow THREE TIMES in the 5 day forecast and the stuff that is on the ground now is UGLY UGLY UGLY. It's grey ice.
