I'm ready for my DVC trip when-

This isn't your traditional "ready for my WDW trip when". But since you joined DVC, is there one thing that you pack, buy, do, that you didn't before, that lets you know it's time for your DVC trip? For us it's when we buy our box of Maxwell House coffee filter packets. We never bought those before DVC, but now we buy a new box of them (there are only 10 packs in a box) for every trip. So for you, is there anything unique to a DVC trip that you always be sure to have now and once you get/do it, you're ready to go?

WE get those two since owning DVC. I have to think a bit about other things we buy before our trip.

I know I'm packed and ready to go as soon as the passes, IDs and medical necessities are packed: Ibuprofen, and yes, similar to you, the Dunkin Donuts coffee.

Clothes and other supplies we can buy down there if I happen to rush out of the house without them.

Thanks to the Boards, I requested a Brita water pitcher for Christmas. Santa (my Dad), gave me one and it will now travel with us on our trips. Banked our remaining points into 2010 (Dec UY) last night....slowly doing the countdown......to December 1-10. I am so very ready. When we say goodbye within about 3 weeks I am ready to return.

We're ready once the reservations are made. We love the anticipation and something to look forward to. I guess when we get down to a week before we really get excited.

The one BIG different thing for us is our Annual Pass!

We don't keep an owner's locker. We keep a rolling box in the closet with the things in it you normally keep in an OL. I know it's time for our DVC trip when I pull out that box and check to see what needs to be replenished. BTW, I did that this week.

I always know a Disney trip is almost here when I go and buy the very small bottle of bleach to use to clean out the tub in the villa!

For me it's when I print out my Owner's Locker inventory list and start checking what I need to bring, and then packing the APs!

For me, it's when I put on the DME luggage tags.

When I buy coffee filters, travel sized laundry detergent, fruit snacks (only time the kiddos get them) and the suitcase comes out!!

I with some of you - it is when I start taking inventory of those odd items that usually don't accompany me on a trip. Laundry supplies, extra ziploc bags, kitchen items, etc etc. I have a container that goes with us when we drive. This time we decided to fly, so I'll bring them in a small suitcase. Got to love "bags fly free" with Southwest

Once I schedule my OL dropoff and pick resort, I'm ready!

I am normally putting last minute trips together or adding days so when all that is final I schedule my locker

For me - it's when I book the flight and bring out my DVC tote bag. I ONLY use it (on purpose) when we go to WDW. Also, when I buy the big box of PopTarts!

For me it would be getting out our Misty Mates from storage. We always go to WDW in the summer, so we need to get creative with ways to stay cool. We also use Disney-themed luggage tags. Last trip I picked up some new ones which I can't wait to use!

Oh yes, and the DVC tote bag - I too use it exclusively at WDW.
