A little fun to share...

On Wednesday I finished up my friend's little girl's First WDW Memory Book (one of my Julie's Mickey Memories Projects) as well DH-Matt helped me create two very cute Custom bags w/ the help of Marion's DISigns

My first Trip to Walt Disney World...

They just loved the bags and books They were floored I had done this for them. I also included some little board books, Disney socks and 1 little toy apiece.

It was so fun to spread some Disney Magic to them before they go...

as well today I had a fun non Disney Dis meet w/ irishdancer again...

and yes you can be we didn't take pictures yet again...

we had a fun bagel breakfast at Panera while talking about our kids, school, etc, and mostly Disney of course and our two upcoming Thanksgiving Break trips...let's hope all works well tonight for her and her family as they visit a DVC event and add some points on...to help make this trip a reality and then we actually have a Dis meet in Disney

we decided since neither DH was keen on dining w/ strangers we'd try to meet up once or twice in the parks and so far based on our individual itineraries we have at least 5 possible times/days that can work...

We were busy at work w/ our planners and notebooks out on the table...I wonder what the people around us were thinking...

Up Next will be the big ADR reveal of how my online experience treated me and what we got...


not that I look forward to waking up at 4:30 something in the morning...but it is for a good cause...

Re: checking out right after a few or not...i guess it's up to you and how risky you might feel. I've read (on DIS) that your cart is supposed to be good for like 30 minutes (but don't quote me). I know when I made our 10 days worth of ressies, I was able to make all of them at one session and just saved them. It was quick, painless and I got everything I wanted within 15 minutes of the time I requested ... even Le Cellier!

Thank you all for the sweet words and on the Disney things...and yes I am geeting nervous and excited for the ADR morning...

it will be a fun day, tired, but good. irishdancer and I always have a great time when we meet...

tomorrow night we say goodbye to LOST too...it will be a late night before my early Disney morning, last time I made ADR's I slept in Mickey Jammies, but I gave them to Bekah..have to sleep in a Mickey t-shirt for good luck

All righty then…..

As I cried my tears saying good-bye to ‘ol friends it felt like last night for the final episode of LOST and stayed up till past midnight…I anxiously went to sleep for what was coming this morning…

By some Disney Miracle I slept like a rock till my alarm went off at 4:30 am and hit the snooze but once.

Got up, turned on the light by the computer desk…woke up my eyes and the computer

And got started…opened up 2 additional windows to Disney Dining and started putting in my info and waited till 5 am appeared…

At first it wouldn’t open anything past the 18th….but after a refresh I was good to go.

1st up was entering in 11-20-10 under the CRT choice and BINGO!

We're in! did the dietary requests, cc guarantee and we are booked! How easy was that…I’m astounded. Then moved on to my next set window and went straight thru and booked HDDR…again so easy.

Next popped back to first window and did all the rest of the Resort Dining and it was about 5:18 am or so w/ 6 booked and 1 to go. Went to book Tutto Italia in my 3rd window but my session timed out. I didn’t realize I needed to add my ressie # back in and had a minor panic when I couldn’t book anything past the 18th…but then in business and booked.

I had a slight hesitation when choosing the time and wondering how that may mess w/ early WS touring …but decided just to go w/ it for now.

I printed out all the confirmation sheets and jotted down the exact ADR times plus my confirmation #’s on my handy chart. I had trouble printing the 4 ressies made together, but luckily the email confirmations were quickly in my inbox and printed them that way…

It felt a bit weird not talking to anyone and hearing a voice tell me the numbers…but I got my numbers, got the emails….we are in business.

I had about 20 minutes till 6 am now and needed to call WDW DINE to book BBB and PL so I decided to check in on the Dis…teased you all…sorry. And said hello on two TR’s. than just past 6:00 am I called down and had to wait just under 4 minutes…phooey.

if you are curious...some PHDL song was on (which is just a bit too much at 6 am IMHO and then HM music, that I can live w/)

Can’t remember the CM’s name who helped me said her name so fast I didn’t quite understand…she wasn’t the overall super friendliest to talk to at 6 am either.

I wonder if those 7 minutes or so past 6 am cost me a better pre-park time but I’ll take what I got… it will work.

Booked BBB for the girls in the castle/MK and noted it was Naomi-Ruth’s b-day plus I then booked an afternoon appt for another day at the PL for Nathan.


Turned off the lights went back to my room, just before 6 :30 am and woke up Matt for work. Told him all was good…and dozed on and off till the kids awoke for school…boy oh boy I was dog-tired at that point …Bekah actually made breakfast and lunches this morning as I didn’t haul my lazy butt out of bed till almost 8:30 am half hour before the kids need to be at school…plus I actually had to get dressed and cleaned up for a morning meeting w/ Naomi-Ruth’s teacher and speech therapist (which was just fine…despite a couple surprises for next yr I wasn’t anticipating…but that is another topic)

It was a good morning…YAY! ​

Fri 20th BBB for 3 girls all together at 8:30 am (wanted 8 am)

Fri 20th CRT lunch at 11:55 am (wanted 12 pm)

Sun 21st Cali Grill for GP’s at 7:45 pm


Mon 22nd HDDR 5:00 pm tier 2

Tues 23rd 1900 PF 8:00 am

Tues 23rd PL for Nathan at 12:30 pm (wanted btwn 12 and 1 pm)

Thurs 25th Chef Mickey’s 9:30 am and WCC at 4:50 pm (wanted 5:00 pm)

Sat 27th Tutto Italia lunch 11:30 am

Very excited….

UP NEXT…a mini Atlanta report and more Disney pre-planning and fun, plus the countdown to booking the airfare last big thing left to do!
