I'm thinking all the girls go down in size on the logo shirts and make one for Margaret with the tank logo. Only the ringer t-shirts (from both years) seem to fit right...why can't they be standard?

Looks like June 10th is the date you'll be able to book airfare if you want to fly Southwest.

I know I gave you an estimate of when I thought it would be way back a few months ago... Was it June?? Just curious how accurate I was.

As for the logo Ts, if you want another kid size one they are available on eBay I think. Search for Disney Mickey Logo Shirt and there is a seller with some up.

I will look one more time...but I don't really want to spend more than 10 for a $5.00 sale shirt

I love the shirts! Don't the unpredictable sizes just drive you crazy? It can be so hard to buy things for kids, especially as they are growing!

Yes it does...the kids practically wear a diff. size at every store I shop at I know lots of speculation...

Any chance you can find a matching logo shirt for Margaret? Did you look for her size when you on the hunt? I think that would be ideal... and save the tank for Michael or another year when everyone bumps up to the next size.

So I know the next post is suppose to be the "box"...

but before I get to that some advice is needed...

so as you know I was feeling confident moving forward w/ the hoppers for the 4 kids until we missed out on the GAD promo and now am back to buying everyone's tickets through UT and the $ is still a bit steep.

Decided I would make TWO itineray versions 1 w/ hopping and 1 w/out hopping w/ my ADR's in place so come early May when hopefully Disney releases their hours I can make a final decision in time before my ADR window on May 24...I don't think any ADR's will move around too much w/ the exception of 2 based on the plan...but if I can't get my first day choice it may cause I bit of or really MAJOR re-working...I have never had triuble making them before...but you never know.

so now...to today's dilemma:

I had the HOPPING plan set:


KIM this does not include arrival Fri the 19th and departure Sun the 28th as these are non park days anyways.


I set most days except the two Saturdays based mostly on best/worst park days from touringplans crowd chart set in mid Jan...but when I looked today some of days have changed parks on the best and worst


sat 20 Margaret's b-day Morning MK (pre-park BBB and CRT-lunch) thru 1:00 pm ish then rest/change at BLT and hop to Epcot, basic goal get on Soarin w/ MP's and have dinner in WS, leave before close be back at BLT to watch Wishes from resort/room?


sun 21 AK try for pre-park early tour, lunch there, possible Resort Hop to BCV? or BW to see holiday decor then to DHS for few attractions and Osborne Lights if lighting (last yr were on before TG)

mon 22 MK all day w/ a break at BLT, HDDR for dinner try for 5:00 pm and possible back to MK for Spectro and Wishes (iffy w/ wanting early bfast next morning)

tue 23 Mae's b-day 1900 PF early bfast try for 8:00 am then to AK for rest of park day stay for parade, Matt's parents night out at Cali Grill

wed 24 (matt's parents leave) Epcot for the day possible BLT break depending on what time we arrive pending MP's leaving/flight need to say goodbye back to epcot evening or go to MK for 2nd chance of Spectro and Wishes in park

thurs 25 no issue not going to parks anyways resort-rest and maybe pool lunch in room, monorail resort hopping and maybe MP for shopping WCC dinner and WL and watch EWP & Wishes from resort


fri 26 MK pre-park arriving and tour, break at BLT and possible hop to DHS for lights or another possible night for Spectro

sat 27 Epcot day for last minutes FW and mainly Santas/storytelling in WS plus CL dinner pkg (Italy) and then CLP and possibly Illuminations


Also hopping plan if one night allows it preferably Wed or Friday take Aldine to MK at night just the two of us or maybe other park...but MK most convenient.

Now I need to work a non hopping plan and look over my hopping plan based on the new CC...days affected Sun, Tues, Fri,​

Musts:

* Go to MK morning of Margaret's b-day

* Go to Epcot for FW touring and couple WS things pre TG for us and w/ Matt's Parents

* Try to see Lights and/or Spectro w/ Matt's parents

* need to fit in HDDR and CG for MP's before Wed.

* Rather do monorail park on Tuesday since eating bfst that morning...maybe do a 8:30/9:00 am start instead helpful for MP's...

* don't want the early morning following late night thing

* Go to Epcot on second Sat for Santas!

* Need to go to AK and DHS pre-park or right at opening at least one day

I love that you have Thanksgiving as a resort day. Relax and chill out...perfect!

As far as the walking trails at AK....one has the gorillas and the other has the tigers. Both great! I'm not helping, am I! I'd say do the Pangani trail, the gorilla one. If they are out, they are a blast to watch. The tigers tend to pace or sleep!

We just filed our taxes and we are getting more back than we had originally hope for...so after the stuff we needed to pay for (bills/debt) Matt said we should just go ahead w/ the Hopper Passes...so as soon as the $ is in our account I'll be able to order the kids tickets through UT and save the other $ for our AP's....

Yes I agree... I hope by planning BBB pre-park and do a fe quick Fantasyland items at 9 am then CRT lunch we can vacate before major afternoon crowds arrive...keep my fingers crossed till ADR making day.

I agree...good safety net. and w/ BLT resort resting should go easier too. It has taken a few trips to wrap my head around more ease in touring...but LARGE crowds will force me too.

So this was yesterday's new plan and the biggest update is no longer need to plan for a non-hopping version...

but still need to get a good itinerary of days laid out...not neccesarily what goals for attractions and order of touring...but just what is morning, afternoon and evening.


I recieved a little more info from Amy and that has helped a bit...



The days that I feel good about are:

Sat 20 MK/EPcot

Wed 24 Epcot or MK

Thurs 25 rest day

Fri 26 AK w/ PM hop to DHS or MK

Sat 27 Epcot



Days still trying to figure out best combo are:

Sun 21 AM good (AK), PM ?

Mon 22 all day

Tues 23 late morning into dinner (PM hop OK w/ to DHS)


(of course it figues these are the days w/ the MP's...)


Now once this is semi squared away it is still is in slight limbo till hours and such are out and I guess I need to decide if we can't get CRT on Sat 20 would I switch the girls b-day meals and try for 1900 PF on Sat and CRT on Tues?

I would think Tues would be easier. I hope you get it. Are you making your dining reservations online? If you do, you can start at 6 a.m. That's how we were able to get CRT. I logged on at exactly 6 a.m. and got it no problem.
