I'm on the "No Gall Bladder Diet"! (Comments welcome)

You are doing a good job!! Sometimes the scale lies. Plain and simple. Have you taken your measurements? I would be willing to bet you are toning all of you muscles with your workouts and although it is not showing on the scale, there is a difference. Do your clothes fit a little different? Bras? Undies? You get my drift!! Remember muscle weighs more that fat, so as you are toning, you are gaining muscle!!

Thanks. I have noticed that my bras aren't fitting quite the way they used to and if I'm losing fat from my tatas and they're shrinking, that would be GREAT!:rotfl: I swear I'm the only woman on earth who envies women who are small-chested.:lmao:
I have a measuring tape so I need to start taking my measurements. I do have a pair of size 16 jeans I bought at Thanksgiving that are so loose I can pull them off now without unbuttoning them.:woohoo: I still don't fit into size 14 th ough...I had a pair of 14s in the drawer and I tried them on yesterday but I can't get them buttoned. :(

Do not beat yourself up so much!! Clear those negative thoughts. This is your life and there are things you are just going to do - like a diet coke or 11 nuggets. You have to Embrace it and get over it You are not failing, you are living. Life has bumps in the road and your road to 165 lbs will have bumps!! Do not worry about it!!

Rather than a weight loss drug have you thought of a multi-vitamin for weight loss? This will get you all of those vitamins, etc that your body may be missing and needs to function and then throws in a little extra B6 and other vitamins that help you metabolize food better. I am not against diet aids, I have tried them all, but for the most part they really do not work. I have found that a milti-vitamin really does help though. You just feel better. Let us know what you do, I would love to hear how the diet aid you chose works.

I'm not even sure where to start with a multivitamen. I'm actually a little nervous to take one..the last time I did there was so much iron in it, it would've constipated a water buffalo!

Keep up the good work. The fact that it has been 90 days and you are still trying shows your determination!! You will do this!!
Thanks. :hug: This is pretty unusual for me to be honest. Normally, if I try something and I don't accomplish what I want very quickly, I quit. I'm such a perfectionist that not getting what I want on the first try drives me absolutely batty. That's why, when I'm working on a sewing project, I end up ripping ou t the stitches three, four or even five times until I'm completely satisfied.

I went and measured myself.
Waist is 36 inches. Ouch! :(
Chest is 40. :(
Hips are 45!!!! :scared:
My biceps are 13 inches around. THIRTEEN INCHES! :faint:

I just did 30 min of Wii Tennis too. I feel like I have to work out or do some sort of exercise for at LEAST an hour a day. I played Wii Tennis standing on tip toe to help give my legs a bit more of a workout and hopefully strengthen my ankles.

You would think that by now I'd know better than to let my blood sugar crash and burn. Got back from my walk and thought, "Oh I'm a little hungry." but sat down, had a huge glass of apple water (3/4 water, 1/4 apple juice) and watched Secret Life Of The American Teenager. Finished that, played half an hour of Wii Sports and thought, "Maybe I should eat something." But I didn't. I sorted the laundry and made the beds instead. So fifteen minutes later I'm feeling very wobbly in the middle and my fingers and feet are feeling very tingly the way they always do when I have a serious blood sugar crash. So I grab a yogurt and some string cheese and sit down with another glass of apple water.
I should be back to normal soon..within the next twenty minutes or so. I hate when this happens and fortunately, it doesn't happen very often any more. It used to happen all the time when I worked at Sucknic because we would have to work eight to ten hours without so much as a goshdarned bathroom break. By the time my shift was over, I'd be near to passing out so I'd have to sit and eat before I could even think of driving home.

A friend of mine donated an exerbike (stationary) to me today. I did 20 min on that thing and I was DONE..my legs felt like jello when I got off. My heart was pounding and I was totally out of breath. I felt great!:rotfl: Just another tool in my weightloss arsenal.

I had to switch from the male trainer to the female trainer this morning. The male trainer has grown his hair out somehow and now instead of a short, spiky hairdo he's got this male Farrah Fawcett 'do. Kind of like Ashton Kutcher's when he was on That 70's show. I couldn't stand it..I ended up laughing so hard I tumbled off the balance board and onto the floor, with the Wiimote under my hip. Ouch.:rotfl2: I ended up just laying there giggling for several minutes because once I got going I couldn't stop. Switching to the female trainer wasn't much better. She was so enthusiastic, even when my stance was crap because I couldn't stop laughing. I ended up having to sit down and laugh some more because she kept clapping and saying how great I was, how strong I was.:lmao:

Last night I really got it for overdoing at dinner. The fried pickles were SO delicious but I think the seafood salad was turned. I ended up with the worst diarrhea I've had in a long, long time. :(
 
I have not tried the male trainer yet, but frankly I find the female one annoying "Great Job" over and over again, when I have fallen off the board long ago - LOL!!

Good job on keeping at it. I am still not in a rythym and am so sparatic.

I love Mini Wheats and would eat them every meal too - LOL!! Looks like we have a lot in common :)

Doing the exercise bike has been a struggle for me, but it seems to be getting a little easier. I took Bob and Jillian's advice and sang throughout the workout. I know I probably sounded ridiculous but since I was alone in my garage, I don't think anybody cared much.:rotfl2: When I got off the bike, I was like, "Oh..this is new." because my legs felt like they were made of stone. They didn't hurt..they just felt stiff and hard to move. I took a short break, watched Bob blow his top on Biggest Loser:happytv: and had a snack. Got good and hydrated and did some yoga. Went to do my lunges and HOLY FREAKING CRAP! I could barely get through one set of 15 because my legs hurt SO much when I went to do them. When I was finished with both legs, I sat on the floor and just w himpered like a little baby. Owie.

*edited--I really effed up on dinner. I was hungry and exhausted and grocery day is Friday so there's not a whole lot of food left in the house. So I ate what was easy and fast and I feel so bad about it now. Esp the bacon. :(

I'm sitting here, still trying to calm my body down from that weird dream I had. DH woke me up, accidentally, when his alarm went off and I went back to sleep. I began having a very bizarre dream in which I was chased by an African-American guy who did, in the end, catch me and try to kiss me which got him a knee to the groin.
Clearly I am ambivalent about Obama being our president.:lmao: That is signified by the fact that I was chased by an African-American man in my dream. I am doubtful of his ability to 'unify the country' as he says because I did not want to be smooched on by him. :lmao: :rotfl:

Sure it was disturbing, but at least I can laugh about it.

*edit #2--I had an argument with DH right after dinner and after he left to go run some errands I snorked down a chocolate donut and a big glass of chocolate milk. I felt REALLY bad about it and about 15 min after I'd done it, I went in the bathroom and made myself throw it up. I felt SO much better after that.

I struggle with the soda issue as well so I can totally relate. It looks like you are getting lots of use from your Wii Fit! I wish I was that committed to it! You are doing a great job of logging your food but in the future I'd caution you on throwing up after a "binge" of sorts. You are much better off to just move forward and not dwell on that. Life's not about being perfect - just make more healthy decisions than unhealthy and you'll see a loss! Hang in there :) :goodvibes:
