I'm old enough to be a GREAT Aunt? Ah well, take them to Disney!!

That's right, I'm a great aunt, at only 36. I'm a disney nut, so I'm taking different family members at different times. It's my DH's niece's turn! Our dates are May 15-21, and I haven't booked yet, but we're wanting to stay at BLT with the MK view. Dh's niece and her husband and 2 kids have NEVER been, so it's time to show them a good time.

So, meet the cast: There's me, and DH, we live close enough to the parks, so we go periodically.

And there's DS. He's 12, will be turning 13 during our trip.

he's famous for funny face pictures. We've been to the world NUMEROUS times, and love going and showing it off for family.

DH's niece has 2 kids, they're REALLY cute, and I have not met them in person yet. First there's Andrew, he's almost 5, and loves Cars, TS, and anything Pixar related, and star wars. So he should be a fun one to take.

Then there's little Sara. She just turned a year old, and will be 19 months old when we go. She's gonna be a little pretty princess!!!

Then there's DN Amanda. She works as a teacher in a child care center, and loves her work. It will be nice for her to let go and have some fun with the kids!!

and Amanda's husband Jon. Don't know too much about Jon, haven't met him in person, but I do know he works for Wal Mart.

So....there's 7 of us, and we're doing the military discount with deluxe dining. the plans will come soon!! Hope everyone enjoys reading along!!!!

Hey Pink!!! Hope you enjoy coming along with us....it's very hard this time, cause they've never been, so trying to come up with the perfect plan, the perfect places to eat etc. Just been hard, but I think I got it!!!

So, our arrival day is on a Sunday. Amanda, Jon and the kids should be here that Saturday night. They are in Tennessee, so they want to see the beach. So Sunday morning will be a beach day, and then head to Disney early in the afternoon. We're doing deluxe dining, so we have some credits to spare, so I'm wanting to take them to the Luau at the Poly. I've never done that, and it seems like it would be fun. After that, we'll head back to the room, and watch wishes from the balcony. Get ready for the first full park day.

I'm really doing my best to make this the best trip for them, so any advice I can get, will surly be appreciated. Since they've never been, and this is pretty much the trip of a lifetime for us, we just want it to be special. Amanda and Jon aren't into the weird food, so I'm trying to keep the meals simple. So, once I'm done with the plan, let me know how it all looks!!

Plans sound good so far. I think staying at BLT with a park view room and being on the DxDDP is about as special as it can get . I would love to go to the Luau, but you know my crew . One of these days I am going to be brave enough, like April, and go to Disney by myself and do all the things I have wanted to do while nobody else did.

The only reason we're doing this big is because of DH's bonus....otherwise, we'd be in the cabins at FW I love kids, so getting my hands on those kids will be like heaven for me. I'm really close with DH's niece....and we haven't seen her in quite a few years, and haven't seen the kids in person yet. so should be fun!!! Glad you joined in!!!!

Alright, back to the plans. Since this is Amanda and family's first time ever, I figured we should start out in the MK. What a great way to start!! DH has fallen in love with the food at Crystal Palace, and always requests to eat there. Since we're on the deluxe plan, breakfast is a must. So, I'm gonna start with an early ADR with my main man Tigger!!! Probably go back to the room for a break, and a swim, maybe a nap for the little ones. For Dinner, we love Tony's. Amanda loves Lady and the Tramp, so it's a good fit all around. Lunches we'll just grab something on the fly. DH likes the hot dogs at MK, so that might be on the list.

So.....first day....MK on a Monday. What could be any better?

So, the second park day, I chose Epcot. For breakfast this day I think I have Ohana for breakfast. Amanda and her family is big into breakfasts, so we're taking advantage of the dxddp to do lots of character breakfasts. I do like Ohana's breakfasts, and of course they have the Mickey waffles that I love so much!!! LOL After breakfast, we'll take the monorail to Epcot. I want to show them Nemo, Test Track, and of course all the countries, and Illuminations. For dinner, I have penciled in for Teppan Edo. I just LOVE that place. I think they would like it too, cause it's like dinner and a show! LOL

So...that's the second day. It'll be a later night due to Illuminations, which is fine. Day 3 which is Chris's birthday, I don't have a park planned for him. He wants to go to International Drive and do that sling shot thing, but I'm thinking he's crazy, cause he wants me to do it with him!! He's always wanted to do the Richard Petty driving experience, so I might go for that option, and the little water mice boats. Andrew will like that, and Amanda may like that too, and I can stay on shore with Sara!! So I think that option is better. Chris wanted me to schedule a down day with no parks, for rest and some relaxing, instead of the go go go all the time. The only meal I have scheduled for this day is Whispering Canyon for dinner. I want them to pick on Chris for getting old!!!

Next day up, TYLER'S A TEENAGER!!! OH NOOOOO!!!! What does he want to do for HIS birthday?????

I am trying so hard to have a chill out resort day but I can't do it. Maybe half a day? We just don't go to Disney often enough. Too much to do. Maybe once we have been there a few more times I can squeeze in a resort day. Maybe.

I wish the May hours were out. I have some ideas of ADRs but they are dependent on certain things. EMH's, Fantasmic,etc.

With 2 very young kids, it's gonna give them some time to just relax also. I wish the May hours would come out too, they probably won't be out for a while. EMH's aren't a big concern, we have never done them. We'll have hoppers for Amanda's family, and the 3 of us have APs, so those aren't a big deal. We can always go somewhere else. The food is a must for me, I don't want to be stuck in one park, having fun, and then have to go to another park for dinner. We're only doing that once, on the last day, mostly cause AK doesn't have that many good TS options, and DH made another request! Have to stay tuned for that one!! I do want to see fantasmic, as I've been to WDW too many times to count, and have never seen it.

Crazy that I haven't seen that huh? I think I've seen just about everything else but that. I'll see it sometime in the next 350 days before our passes expire. Yea, DH is really close to his niece, so he's helping with the plans for this trip. Usually I ask him what he wants, and says whatever, but this time I'm getting alot more input from him that he wants to show Amanda and do with her. And most of his requests are good, and I want everyone happy. So......it's all good!!!

We have reached Thursday.....and the third park day. This day is the 19th, and it's Tyler's 13th birthday!! For breakfast, we're gonna do Whispering Canyon, we did that a few weekends ago with Sami, and that breakfast skillet was AWESOME!!!!! I think that day I ate 5 mickey waffles!! I swear they put a drug in them things, they are SOOOOO good!!! After breakfast, we're off to DHS. Tyler recommended this park, since it's one of his favorites. I'm not sure if it is a fantasmic day yet, if it is, super, if not that's fine too. He's hoping that Star Tours is reopened, it's supposed to be a couple of days before, so lets pray that it opens on time. He'll probably spend ALL of his birthday money in the Star Wars store there. He can spend HOURS in that store!!!

For Dinner, the birthday boy has requested Kona. So.....Kona it is!!! Kona is one of those places that we have to eat at every time we go. It's just SOOO good, and Tyler LOVES the Kona Kone.

This is a day where I want to take Andrew and Sara to TSM, Playhouse Disney show....and all the fun things that DHS has to offer. GMR is a must also. Andrew may be tall enough for TofT, but Sara won't be. Andrew likes Star Wars also, so that'll be a good treat for him as well.

So....this is our 4th day. Next up is DH's request mentioned earlier.....so stay tuned!!!

Last park day will be on friday, the 20th, and I saved the best for last!!! AK! I LOVE AK!! I wanna do pretty much everything there with the kids. They'll love the shows, the animals, everything. I want to have breakfast with Donald at Tusker House, and for dinner, DH requested that we hop, since he doesn't like any of the other TS places in AK. His request...........CORAL REEF!!! Mr "I don't eat seafood" LOVED that place when we went with Sylvia this year in June. So, we'll do the hop, and visit places in Epcot that we missed, since I'm expecting AK to close at like 6 in the afternoon. The kids should like having dinner in the fish tank too.

We're gonna wait to check out until Saturday morning. We were gonna go home after AK friday, but with the military discount, I can afford the extra night

Saturday morning we'll wake up, and I want to do Chef Mickey's for breakfast, and then head home. Amanda said she'd like to see the space center if we had time, and we may have time saturday. They'll probably leave to head back to TN on sunday morning, so that's gonna be our week with Amanda!!! I hope her first visit to WDW is magical, and I'm sure we're gonna laugh the whole time, and I'm gonna have them babies wrapped around my fingers!!! They're gonna LOVE Aunt Kiki after the end of this week!!!!!

I've already started buying them souveniers, and pins, and shirts and stuff, I'll take some pictures of that stuff, and post them when I can. They're not gonna want for much while they're there!!! I also need to post the weekend trip with Sami for her birthday, and our Epcot day last weekend!!! So, check back often, I'll keep updating stuff as I buy it, and share with all ya'll!!!
