I'm officially excited.

Just had to share.

We received our safari packet in the mail today for our October stay at AKL.

It made the trip seem just around the corner.

It was a little different this time. They had the newsletter in the packet from AKL and I just loved reading it.

My kids saw the envelope and started jumping up and down.

THE AKL IS GREAT, I WAS THERE LAST YEAR, ITS MY DAUTHER FAVORITE RESORT, SO FAR. THE AFRICA THEME IN THE RESORT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. I AM SURE YOUR SON WILL LOVE ALL THE ANIMALS, YOU CAN WALK THROUGH THE HALLS AND FROM THE WINDOW YOU CAN SEE ANIMALS.
WL IS MY FAVORITE RESORT, IT IS A WARM COZY RESORT. NO MATTER WHICH ONE YOU DECIDE IT WILL BE GREAT.

The packet is addressed to "The XXXXXXXX Safari" (fill in your last name)

It includes a welcome letter from AKL Concierge, a form to fill out with all kinds of information regarding PS's, tickets, special events, arrival time, etc., a map of the resort, some theme park flyers, information on the concierge food offerings.

It just made me smile to get it.

They now put the letter on a real pretty stationary that has "cut outs" (for lack of a better word) of animals on the top.

Even my DH got a little excited when he saw it and he's the type who just leaves all of the planning up to me.

We decided on the 2br suite but my MIL may not be able to go with us due to an illness in the family so we may end up in a 1br suite-I just wouldn't be able to justify a 2br if it was DH, kids and myself.

....the end of NEXT June!! The wait is killing me(...and everyone around me!). I swear,my friends see me coming,and they just know I'm going to say something "Disney"! They can't believe I'm almost 49 and so totally obsessed with WDW!! I can't help it.
To me,there's no place better to vacation. There's just so much to do there.

I am excited for you! I can't wait until our packet arrives also. We will be there at the end of November. Seems like I have been counting the days for so long that 100 and 60 some days seems like it is right around the corner anymore

I'm leaving in less then 48 hours and it's not real to me yet. I haven't packed yet either. I'm doing that tonight. But honestly.. I'm antsy right now and so time is passing EXTREMELY slow. But it's not going to hit any of us until we're at the airport.

(I'm going with three of my friends. We just graduated HS.)
