Just a quickie! We're all settled in finally..had massive problems getting her port accessed, but it's all straight now. The room we're in is tiny so we're really hoping for a transfer, but we'll see. Thank you all for the e-cards, we got our first batch of 20 or so today, and Piper (and everyone else) is loving it! Hi guys. I know it looks like I'm being a bad friend almost never posting on here. It's been kinda busy for me and then I've been hitting the hay much sooner than I use to.

I talked with Amanda the other day when she was driving to the hospital, she's not in the best of spirits, but hanging in there pretty well considering the situation. Bless her beautiful heart.
Part of the other reason I haven't posted as much lately is also due to the fact that I talk with Amanda fairly often. Which leads me to the fact she tried to call me tonight and didn't get me because I was talking with my brother, I couldn't get off the phone. I hope to talk with her tomorrow. Keep up the prayers y'all and great job with the cards already!! I've got some ideas as what to put on them, I'm trying to come up with themes so she has something else to look forward to for when she gets the cards.

Amanda and Piper - I'm so sorry to hear that you have landed back in Club Med. I've finally caught up on your TR and will patiently wait to hear more once you are out of the hospital. Too bad you guys didn't live up here in WI, we could be cell mates, errrrr, ummmm, I mean roommates when Bella starts her vaca in Club Med on Monday! Just seems like we can't get enough of these places, can we?

Bella and I will work on sending an e-card over the weekend. It's so wonderful that hospitals offer that for their patients. Our hospital staff was quite impressed with Bella's collection of 30 or so during her 4 day stint last week. They'd probably flip out over the collection Piper has accrued already. Sounds like you've settled into your new accommodations. Sorry to hear the room is so small. Tell them Piper NEEDS to get a bigger room to handle all the cards she'll be getting!

Amanda, you and Piper are both in our prayers as she recovers and you support her. Take care, and please update us when possible. BTW, do you have a caringbridge website for Piper? They are wonderful, FREE websites for people with illnesses. I have one for Bella and it is so easy to keep family and friends informed while she is hospitalized. Please PM me the link if you do have one for Piper!

I haven't been on much, Little miss has been sick again (what a shock, huh?) we escaped pneumonia this go round and she just has double ear infection with ruptured ear drums and upper respiratory along with a side of norovirus--

anyone mind pm'ing me the addy so we can mail a small goody or two?
