Tower of Terror is definitely scream-scraper for me. I have never gone on and truthfully have had fights with people over it..I am just way too scared. It's beyond my comfort level. So can't blame anyone who opts out!

Scream Scraper- love that name! Neither DD nor DH are fans of ToT, so I usually ride it alone or bribe one of them with a treat to get them to ride with me. I love it and could ride over and over.

When DD was younger, she called it "Hotel of Horror".

My dad and I rode Scream Scraper on our only visit to (MGM) HS 17 years ago. We thought it was pretty fun. I hadn't thought we'd do it this time, but reading this thread makes me kind of want to carve out some time for Scream Scraper.

Weirdly I hate drop rides (I've never done Dr Doom at Universal) but Tower of Terror is my favourite ride ever, just doesn't really feel like a drop ride.

I don't like drop rides either, but TOT is different. I really enjoy it. I DO like Dr. Doom at Universal and similar, because it shoots you UP, rather than lifting you and then dropping. I can handle the Dr. Doom type much better.

Ever since my Dad tricked me into going on space mountain when I was like 8 by telling me it was just like spaceship earth, I haven't done thrill rides. I rode mine train a few months ago and that was a HUGE accomplishment. So in trying big thunder, let your kid know he is far braver than this 22 year old girl! haha!
