I'm not feeling safe using the Boardwalk path for Epcot or DHS as a solo

I never did it alone. . .no one would let me do anything alone after dark. . .lol
But seriously. Never once had any issues with it. . .

I've walked the path from DHS to Epcot many times after dark and always noticed numerous folks strolling along the way. I've never heard of any incidents happening along the path, either. The suggestion to "adopt" a family sounds reasonable if you feel uncomfortable, though.

i've walked the path from BW to MGM solo during the early morning hours and felt safe enough.....

but just didn't feel comfortable walking it alone in the dark - took the boat instead (when i didn't see any families to "adopt" and walk behind....)

same with the MK to CR path - daytime, fine - nighttime, monorail instead.

rather be safe....

re: studios path...
I've been on that path many many times at night
with no problems! I run that path in the wee hours of the
morning also. Disney has cameras everywhere, so no worries:thumbsup2

Cameras everywhere? I saw a guy burning one on the way to MGM, I wonder if he was caught on camera?

I have walked that path alone several times, but no more. I personally don't think I want to take the chance walking alone anywhere anymore. The older I get, the more cautious I become.

I have walked it at night, and every sound I heard coming from the bushes spooked me.

I now wait for a family or group to head that way, then I sort of tag along, walking behind them--not too close that they think I'm weird or stalking them--but not too far, so I feel safe. I "adopt" them for the walk back. :rotfl:

This is a great idea! Stick close to families and it will make it more secure. I would feel safer walking to Epcot from BW or Yacht/Beach, but I would NOT walk from DHS back to the resorts. That is a LONG walk and it just does not make sense to walk it alone when you can take the friendship and not worry at all.
Even at WDW, you need to use common sense and common sense always tells me a woman should NEVER walk alone at night where there are bushes or shrubs and it is along walk. Again if you can find a family walking back, (but I have not seen families making that long trek from the studios myself, tho I have heard people do walk back from DHS at night, NOT me, no, no, no):hyper: then tag a long behind, but to be safer, take the boat. Be safe and have a great vacation without fear!

if you are staying at BWV the walk back from Studios at night after fantasica is not bad at all. the wall way is well lite.

now walking all the way back to the YC/BC - no! - it is safe - but hey that is a long walk....

so unless you are going to have wait for 3 boats - just take the boat.

I've walked from BWV or Y&B to Epcot many times solo day and night. At all hours I've seen people on the path and never felt uncomforatable. The walk to the DHS is another thing. Morning is fine but it's too long and desolate at the end of the day. Also, goes by parking lots by the studios that I wouldn't feel comfortable going by solo late at night. Better to take the boat.

believe me after that nut got pass BW security - there is no area more secure.

A nut got past BW security?!? :scared1: What did he/she do? I haven't heard that story.

No opinion on the path except to say that everyone's comfort level is different and you have to do what feels right for yourself. :goodvibes
