Hi
I'm new here although I've used the US boards for years for various Florida
trips.
We are travelling with our 2 children age 10 and 5 and we've booked for 2 nights 20-22 feb staying in the Santa Fe. The cheyenne would probably be my first choice but as I'm a Disney Store cast member I managed to get a discount.
I plan to arrive Friday afternoon and take in the Disney Village and Cafe Mickeys for dinner. Then have Saturday and Sunday one day in each park.
We're driving so we'll check into another off site hotel for sunday night and travel home monday daytime. I know its not a lot of time but as we've done florida recently don't feel as though we have to do it all. We are trying to keep the cost down and have 2 days passes so can't really do a 3rd day.

I would appreciate any tips or advice anyone has to offer about strategies, rides, food, weather or anything!

Thanks:flower3:

Hi ruthie - Jackie,Elaine,Reid and Elaine all welcome you to DLP DIS board
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here. DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

It will be generally a quieter time in the parks but if you want to maximise your time use your early morning hours to get a head start on the rides.

It has been cold in Paris but hopefully it will be a bit warmer in February - plenty of layers are good and you will find in DLP plenty of undercover areas to keep dry if it should rain

We also have reviews on all the restaurants which are full of info :thumbsup2

Hi welcome to the DLRP board!
My first tip is check in as soon as you arrive and try to get Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast for the day you decide is your Disneyland Park day. If you are getting hopper park tickets try to get the breakfast for both days. The GMFB is better than the Hotel breakfast and will mean you are there in the park to enjoy early entry to Fantasyland.
Second tip is make sure you get to enjoy all the unique Disneyland Paris attractions (you will find lots of info here on this board0.
Third tip is to stop by at City Hall if you can and ask a CM for tips on how to make the most of your short stay. As you are a CM yourself I would mention that - you never know what small benefit you may get from one of your DLRP colleagues!
I bet you will get some great advice from people here as we all love DLRP and we want everyone to enjoy their time there.:goodvibes

Hi All
Thanks for all your helpful information.
What is the good morning fantasyland breakfast and are the extra magic hours worth taking advantage of?

Thanks
:)

Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast (GMF) is offered to guests in certan=in hotels - including Santa Fe - and means you can have breakfast in the park instead of your hotel.
There are only so many slots and you need to ask when you check into the hotel

EMH is worth doing as you get 2hrs in the park on certain rides - mostly Fantasyland but also Buzz, Space mountain and Orbitron. It means you can do rides like Peter Pan and Dumbo which normally have an hours wait as walk ons.
We did Peter Pan 4 times in a row
