I am new to the board and can not wait to start my DISNEYmoon PJ!! I am soo excited i can hardly sleep and i'm still 4 months away!!! I'm going to start a DISNEYmoon planning journal within the next few days. I have enjoyed reading everyone else's pj's and i want to do one for myself!! more later and i shall begin very soon!!

Ok, let the WJ and Disneymoon PJ BEGiN!!!
First I guess I should share a little about my self and my fiance.
My fiance and I are both from South Carolina and are head over heels in love!!

ME
Amber - 19 years old
I'm a junior in college studying to be an ultrasound technician. I also teach preschool (26 three year olds -- they are WILD, but they are great). I love my job and I love going to school. I also am totally in love with my fiance and totally obsessed with planning our winter wonderland wedding and our fairytale honeymoon. I LOVE ALL THINGS DISNEY, but sadly have never ever ever been!!! Growing up, we just didn't have the money for Disneyworld, which makes me even more excited to be going for my honeymoon!

FIANCE
Richard - 21 years old
My fiace is the world's greatest man!! He is a police officer and enjoys his job very much. I admire him for putting his life on the line to ensure the safety of our community. He only has to work 4 days out of the week and has 2 weekends off a month, so that will be great for when we are married and living together! DF also has never been to Disneyworld!!! So this will be a magical trip for many reasons for both of us!!

HOW WE MET...
My DF and I met at work. Summer of 2006, we both were working an extra part time summer job at Home Depot. I was sorta "crushing" on him, but was tooo nervous to say anything to him about it... So i took the easy route!! I tried to schedule my breaks and lunches at the same time as he did so that i could talk to him. After about a month of that, I went out to the garden section one day (where he worked, i worked in paint) to "ask him something for a customer" and low and behold, right in the middle of the garden section at homedepot, orange aprons on, cameras around, HE KISSED ME!! Just out of the blue!! Then asked me out Obviously I accepted!! We started dating in May 2008, and were engaged very shortly after. Things did move fast, but i knew it was just right with him!!!

So far I have my entire wedding planned!! It's going be relatively small, but very nice with a winter wonderland theme. I'll have more detials to come in my WJ/PJ!!

I live in a small town about 1 hour north of Columbia. I actually got my dress from David's Bridal in Columbia, as did my bridesmaids!!! I will be posting tomorrow about my engagement, as well as pics of things from my upcoming winter wonderland wedding!!!

Here is an update!!! Actually, i've kinda taken a detour and will provide some pics relating to my wedding in this post Hope you all enjoy and I would LOVE to hear any comments/advice/hates/likes/ect...
Oh yeah, and my computer is being wierd...so if the pics don't come up, i'll try to repost them...

My Wedding Dress - I wanted to go for something with a little color so that it would coordinate with the rest of my bridal party. I am all about coordination and details!! Just imagine this pic with the navy color of the bridesmaids dresses replacing the red -- and that's my wedding dress!

My Bridesmaids Dresses - I have three bridesmaids and one junior bridesmaids. I wanted them to feel comfy in the dress they wore and i wanted them to LOVE it. So, i decided to pick a color, then let them each choose a dress that suited their body type and preference. I really hope that isn't toooo corny and won't look tooo mix-matchy...

My Flowergirl Dress - I wanted my flowergirl's dress to have more of a "mini-bride" feel rather than the typical ankle length little girls dress. I think she'll look BEAUTIFUL in this dress!!!

My Wedding Cake - Since I was going with a Winter Wonderland theme, we will be using snowflakes EVERYWHERE!!! So, i wanted the cake to have snowflakes on it Here's a pic of the design the baker will use for the cake.

My Headpiece and Veil - This is what really makes me feel like a bride!! My headpiece is a tiara made of pearls and sworovski (sp??) crystals. My veil has handbeaded sworovski crystal droplets all over it. I LOVE MY VEIL!!!!

All of the groomsmen, ushers, ringbearer, and of course the groom are wearing black tuxes and these blue vests. The pic of the single guy with the darker vest is the vest/tie combo they'll be wearing! DF will be wearing a black on black pinstripe suit which he looks soo gorgeous in!!

Ok, sooo what's the verdict?? Hate, Like, Love???

I can't see your pictures, but I am doing the same thing with my bridesmaids. I'm telling them the color, and they pick dress and shoes. I think it actually looks better when you have ladies of different shapes and sizes, b/c it's so rare you can find one to flatter all.

I use photobucket and I've never had a problem. Sometimes it's kinda slow when you try to upload more than a few at once, but other than that I love it!

You just uploaded to photobucket and then when you were ready to put a pic in your post, you clicked on the little "insert image" icon, then copied and pasted the link?? That's what i'm doing and when i preview post it's still not there... what gives???
