Hello everyone. New to the board here. I just signed up with vmk recently too. Yeah! So let's see... let's start a thread....

Has anyone ever heard of or ::gasp:: ever been to Club 33 in Disneyland? I've heard rumors about this place for a while. I think it is a private club....

Actually, I have no idea where, but somewhere on this board is a picture of a couple dis members in front of the entrance to 33. Also, interesting fact: I'm reading a book (which is taking me FOREVER b/c i keep gettin bored and reading other books instead): called Sewer, Gas, Electric by Matt Ruff (one of my favorite contemporary fiction authors just under Chuck Pahlaniuk and Christopher Moore). The book was written in the 80's I think, or early 90's, and is set in (I beleive) the year 2023. Part of the plot involves a conspiracy that has something to do with Walt Disney and Club 33. I have not gotten far enough to know everything, but there is a very interesting part about a tape that was found of a conversation between J. Edgar Hoover and someone else famous (don't recall who) that takes place while they are dining at the club.

Do you guys know how much membership at Club 33 costs? Holy breaking the bank, Batman!

Yup, I've heard of Club 33. It's in Disneyland and VERY VERY hard to get a membership into the elite club. You have to know someone who knows someone. Not just anyone is going to hold a membership to Club 33.
