I'm nervous we won't get our Magic Bands....

We just moved this weekend (yay!) and while I changed my address, triple checked with Disney, I'm so nervous my bands will be lost. I realize I'm being irrational and they won't be mailed until 9/21 so I should know by then if I'm having mail problems, but still....

If we don't get them, we would still get the grey ones at the resort? Can we pay for colorful ones if we want?

Also, had to mention, we paid for the quick service dining plan for our trip (we were on the fence, but went with it), with a few dinners out of pocket (9 nights). Today we paid the final payment for our trip.
I have to say with all the unexpected expenses we have had this summer (did not know we were moving, but building sold in May and they did not renew anyone's lease!!), it's a really good feeling to know that everything is paid for. Even food. Most of our fun spending budget was used on the move/new couches, but we can rebuild that back up before we go.

Phew, I need a vacation....

I would keep verifying that your address is correct. Mine has been incorrect in the system for about 4 months now. I have changed it online, on the phone and through email a total of 7 times now. And STILL I have a STRANGERS address linked with my account on the side the CMs see for reservations.

Online it shows my address, on all e mail communication it shows my address, but in their system they see some totally random persons address and change it every time I call. BUT none of the changes seem to work.
I don't know what the issue is but I have the same fear.

I started the reservation back in Feb with the correct address and how it has come to this is beyond me. I am terrified our whole packet of info, luggage tags, MDE info, and magic bands will be sent to someone else.

Its called mail forwarding....

Just let the post office know you moved and you will get them without an issue. Your 1 of 36 million people who move in a year (it was in the census) and the USPS has a system to keep track of all of that.

Don't worry the bands would get to you. Your more likely to have your bands now than if you fly and put them in your checked bags....

I did mail forwarding, but honestly in Chicago that doesn't mean a thing! Worst mail delivery ever at my last building, hoping this one is better.

They will be shipped to whatever address you confirm as the address you want them sent to; the address listed when the period to customize them ends.

Last year I had our MB's shipped to my work address with no problem, even though that's not the address I use for everything else Disney-related.

Could someone refresh my memory please? Having a "duh " moment I guess. Our trip is Sept 1, so , about when should I expect our magic bands ? . TIA for any help.

Never mind ------ DH came home with the mail , which included our bands !! All systems are go again
