So we're going to WDW for the first time in 8 years and our 60 day window is coming up on Sunday at 9pm Calif time. We are 7 people with park hoppers and staying onsite. I am the person in charge of everything so will be making the FP+ selections.

1. I am not a late night person so don't want to have to spend more than 1 hour on Sunday night making the FP+ reservations. Is that realistic for 7 people for 7 days (it only taking an hour)?

2. Do you think I will get the FP+ reservations that I want? I mean, do they really get all booked up within 10 minutes of FP+ booking time opening?

3. How do I actually make the FP+ reservations? Log into MDE and there is a tab?

Help!!!

1. Yes, you can do it in an hour easily if you've planned what you want in advance (already know which park which day, etc.)
2. No, most rides do NOT get booked up in 10 minutes. That is only in extreme cases, like when Frozen Ever After first comes out, it might be like that for a while. Not for other rides. Availability is harder to get for 7 people, though, so it's good you're doing it first thing.
3. Log on to MDE, click on FastPass+, then follow the prompts to get started

This was my first time doing FP+ and it did take me two hours. However, I went slow to make sure I made no mistakes , the system messed up in me at day 6 (I was doing 4 people for 7 days) and I had to wait til it came back up, and I went in to modify afterwards for several days because I was tweaking to get the exact times I wanted. I also did it before the recent changes in the system.

What recent change in the system?

What recent change in the system?
I think it was April 9th or 10th....you used to have to select 3 all together then go in and modify them to fit what you wanted. Now you just choose 1 at a time. There are other changes, such as not having to book 3 in advance and using your phone to book additional FP at the parks.

In addition to what ArielSRL said, once you've done your originally booked FP(s) in the park, you can book your day-of FP (what's usually called the 4th FP, but it no longer has to be the 4th as you now might only book one FP in advance instead of 3) for another park, even if you're still at the first park.
