Okay...so I am just going to treat this as sort of a blog. Is that the way this works? okay here goes...
Hi I'm Amanda and I have always lived in my own little Disney kingdom. As a small child I went quite often since my aunt lived in near by Melbourne. It seems like we went every summer for many many years. Then as I got older the trips got less and less frequent. This is due to the fact my aunt moved to Panama City Beach where we lived so I can't really complain. I wrote my senior project on Walt Disney. Changed Disney songs into jingles for our bake sales at schools..had to sing them myself
Time passed and I went for graduation in 1994. It wasn't much fun to be honest. I had to dress formally and didn't really have many friends that went. FOREVER went by and in July of 1999 my DH, Mark, and I went on our honeymoon. My mom had a timeshare at Vistana and that was our wedding gift. Mark had never been and I don't think he felt the magic
maybe it was just too hot for him...quite possible. So all the years have gone by and each year that passes it seems like the pixie dust is wearing off more and more. You know how it is...I'm getting older, Neverland is drifting further away.
My oldest daughter, Shelby, who is 8, has said "my friend Taylor got _____'s autograph at Disneyworld"and then she says in her very quiet I'm sad voice "we're never going to disney". okay...heart is broken now...
Well enter this past August. I looked at my DH and said we WILL go within the next year. I don't want Shelby to get too old to feel the magic of seeing Cinderella for the first time in person. Now I am fully aware that she would rather see Zac Efron or Miley Cyrus or *gasp* Joe Jonas but I can only do so much lol So this is where I will end. The stop point is where I realize my fairy wings are losing their sparkle and my little girl is not my littlest girl and she just isn't going to stop growing.
