I'm missing my home-let's go there together!

I am missing my BWV home and I won't get to go back to WDW until December! How about missing your home away from home with me? Where do you own and what spot do you wish you were at right now?

I wish that I was sitting under an umbrella at Luna Park watching the people go down the slide and anticipating getting into the nice cool pool myself!

Home is OKW and missing sitting on Main Street people watching...less than 42 days til our visit to BCV.

MY home is BWV and I miss it terribly....but I fortunately will be home in about 56 days......i can't wait....

My home is OKW and going home in 40 days. Can't wait. Miss walking around OKW, sitting on the porch having coffee, sitting by the pool. Going to Magic Kingdom and walking down Main Street and looking at the Castle, being with my best friend, confidante, DH of 32 years who still makes me laugh and who I have the best time with and who loves Disney and OKW as much as I do.

Our homes are OKW and Vero. We'll be back at WDW next weekend for 2 nights - for Night of Joy - but we'll be staying at VWL...

I love my early morning walks when staying at OKW & Vero - I'm looking forward to getting up next Saturday morning and taking the trail at VWL over to Ft. Wilderness...

But if I was at OKW right NOW - I'd love to be sitting over by the marina with a strawberry smoothie, "hopefully" listening to Jimmy Buffet - but it sounds as if that has changed....

We are visiting BWV for the first time in 20 ish days, we cant wait. It will be our first time there.

In my mind (since you brought it up ), I'm relaxed on the beach at WL. Sunset was a little while ago and it's dark now. There's a nice breeze coming in off Bay Lake. I've got my favorite adult beverage in my hand, DW at my side, my DD's splashing along the water and the Electrical Water Pageant coming into view.

Oh man, we don't go back until next summer. Oh well.

I miss my BWV home, will be home in 99 days. I love walking into the lobby but I really love the moment when you walk out of the lobby on the other side and there's the lake with the sun shining and the boats going by..... It's especially nice in December when it's cold at home. The heat feels so good. OK, i"m homesick now...

Im on top of the WL participating in being the flag family. We see Bay Lake, the WL pool, the MGM ears, Cinderella's castle, the tree of life and the EpCot tower. What an excellent view!

All is quiet and peaceful

I'll be back at our Newer Home in 4 months BWV at the quiet pool sitting, reading and loving life. In 15 months I'll be at our Older Home OKW sitting on the porch drinking my coffee, reading, watching the ducks and loving life. (also with my Best Friend of 32 years years.)

63 days to WDW for us, but we'll be trying the new place, BCV -- our WDW home is OKW.

88 days to our other home at HH (for Thanksgiving). But THAT is the home I'm really missing now. We usually go to HH for Labor Day, but skipped this year...

As Beth has mentioned, OKW and VB our homes. We have ressies for both as you can see below , but if we were there now, we would be sitting on our balcony at OKW with a cup of coffee and just relaxing. And if we were at VB we would be walking along the ocean, and enjoying the ocean view from the Beach Cottage!!!!!

I will be back in just 14 days! Yahoo! But if I was there right now, I would have just gotten back from the pool and taken a shower and would be sitting on my BWV balcony watching the sun set, and taking in my beautiful surroundings with a nice glass of wine, munching on some cheese, fruit and crackers, while planning my dinner at the Flying Fish and just loving life!!

Great thread What I miss about our 1st home away from home HH is sittting out on the porch with my morn.coffee rocking in the rocking chair looking out over the marsh. @nd home is BW and there I miss sitting out and watching the people go by and Illumanations (SP) and finnally for our 3rd home WL I miss sitiing at the bar by the pool and chatting with other guest and Kendra, Keri and Stuart the bar keeps.

We're just at the halfway point between visits home to OKW...

I can't decide what I'd be doing though -- it's either sitting on the patio, watching the waterfowl... or sitting at Ghirardelli's with a sundae... or watching SpectroMagic... or playing mini golf...

Decisions, decisions! It's not easy being on vacation

Me, I miss having that perfect park day with my family and then retiring to the Hot Tub at OKW to soak those achin feet. Also included is the favorite adult beverage.

What's this I hear about the music changing at OKW? No more peanut butter and Jellyfish sandwiches? Say it ain't so.

I miss having breakfast from the Boardwalk Bakery. I love sitting there drinking my creamy coffee while eating a nice sweet roll and watching the diligent joggers pass me again and again ... and again. I can't help but think they resent me in my determined relaxation.

I also miss the calzones from Spoodles take out window. My god those things are sinful.

I wouldn't mind a sundae from Beaches and Cream either.

Huh. Notice how all of my nostalgia centers around food...?
