Hi!!!


I've just emailled my TA and asked her to change me to the 7 night Christmas cruise from the 11 night one.

This will save us over £2k on our holiday overall and will mean we can do all of WDW during the quieter period before xmas, rather than take our 2 small boys back there to face the New Year's crowds (which was the deciding factor really).

Please tell me i've done the right thing!!

Sure you have. It will be much better to hit WDW when it's quieter with two little one's and youe still doing a cruise & saving money. Sounds Fab.

As you can see I have a new signature - so I have gone ahead with the transfer to the shorter cruise!

I admit I do feel a bit sad, but I also know I was being too extravagant and the new itinerary is definitely better for the children - which is the most important thing at the end of the day!!

Plus - I now get to have fun sorting out my 'new' itinerary for the next year and 8 mths!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind messages!!

I feel a lot better today and I have 'unsubcribed' myself from the old cruise meet thread so I can't be upset by all their planning without me!!! I'm still having a dream holiday - just a slightly different, cheaper and more practical dream!!!

So where will you be for Christmas Day now??

I guess thats another itinerary I need to get from you now!

That was part of the decision really - we will still be at Sea for Christmas Day which was always the most important part of the cruise for me (apparently Father Christmas has time to visit both the Wonder and the Magic , and Mrs Clause can 'hop' from one boat to the next to read the children a bedtime story on Christmas Eve!!)

The main part that has changed is that we don't go on the cruise until 23rd Dec rather than 18th - so we will do all of Disney before the cruise and just concentrate on Universal after it!! (But yes it will involve a change of itinerary!!!)
