Okay...At a college i went to in California there was a school runconvience store close to the dorms they sold a Rice Krispie treat that was seriously at least 2x that size, that was like a whole sheet cake!!! i always wanted to buy it but we never did, hahahaha.

I LOVE your trip report so far, and i have to say, I am anxiously awaiting the getting pooped on segment. Is that bad? The title intrigues me i guess!!!

Haha I've seen those Rice Krispie... TRAYS, haha. They had them at a 7-11 that I used to live near. So insane!

You know what? I have an idea of three pretty amazing kids who would LOVE to ride Dumbo with you at night!!
(And also their child-like parents.) Julia and I went to get pictures of it at night on our last night there, and then the camera died. WOMPWOMP! So, yeah, I need to be there at night again.

I love hearing the stories behind your video! I hope that people who have watched my video and are reading my TR are doing the same thing--oh, THAT is what was going on there...I know this story!

Glad Bruce was feeling better, but guys totally are whiney when they're sick. Totally. Not saying I'm not, but I could never be to that degree. My kids love when Bruce says, "Don't. Talk. To. Me." Cracks them up (and me!).

Guys ARE whiny, and as sad as it is that he got sick, we never would have had "Don't talk to me" happen if he hadn't been sick! We told Bruce tonight that he made your kids laugh and he thought that was fantastic, haha.

Great choice on the ear hats! I've never had an ear hat just a headband as the ear hats just don't look so awful on me and I can't stand the strap.. Maybe someday I will remember bobby pins and can wear one that way!

Thinking an Ear Hat might be a little on the hot side for my next trip though.

That's a bummer that the changed the menu at Whispering Canyon Cafe. But at least the skillet improved, so that's always good.

Those giant chairs in the lobby look so comfy! People don't appreciate the fine art of sitting in a hotel lobby enough.

Aww thank you! I'm kind of lucky Matt is willing to do it since a lot of other stuff he's not so into. But the hats, he's cool with. You guys should totally do them! You should show your DH our pics to convince him that it's okay, hahaha.

Chapter Twenty-Four: I'm a failure with Dole Whip photos.
Day 4: January 20th, 2013

After we left the Haunted Mansion, we decided to go find a spot to sit and watch the 9pm showing of the Main Street Electrical parade. It was only around 8:20, and I noticed a good spot in Liberty Square, where we could sit while we waited for the parade.

Matt decided to go and check if there were any FPs left for BTMRR while we sat and hung out. Unfortunately there weren't, but when he returned, he and Amy decided to go and get us all some Dole Whips!

Bruce and I sat and waited while keeping our seats, and I was texting back and forth with an instagram friend, Katelyn.

A few minutes later, Katelyn, Kira, and Derek, all who I follow on instagram showed up and we said hello and hugged and all that. It's always so fun to finally meet people in person who share a similar love for Disney parks! I'd known them actually through Rachel (okw19) originally, so it was nice to meet them. Any friend of Rachel's is a friend of mine!

We chatted for a bit and I introduced them to Bruce. A few minutes later, Matt and Amy had returned with our Dole Whips in hand, and joined in on our fun conversation.

I ate my Dole Whip and chatted away, aaaand didn't take a photo of it! But I promise, it was every bit of delicious.

It's funny, actually, now that I think about it. In my 3 times of eating a Dole Whip, 2 of those times I was not able to get a photo of it, and the other time (in Disneyland), I took a terrible picture of it in the dark on my iPhone. I guess I'm just too busy eating them to take photos!

Katelyn, Kira, and Derek all joined us since there was plenty of space to watch the parade. Soon enough, Tinkerbell was coming through!

Now, I know a LOT of people either find the Main Street Electrical Parade cheesy, or miss Spectromagic, or just hate parades in general... but I LOVE the Main Street Electrical Parade.

I love that it IS cheesy, I love the music (I am known for blasting a little Baroque Hoedown in all of its electronic glory when I'm not in Disney), and I love all of the lights. It holds a special place in my heart and always will. That being said, I wish I could have seen Spectromagic, and it's sad that they will never bring it back.

So, we were all enjoying the parade when Alice and her float are coming by. She is chatting away about who knows what, when she lays eyes on Matt and starts telling him how she just LOVES his Buzz Lightyear ears, and goes on and on about it, hahaha. He was smiling and we were all laughing, it was a pretty adorable moment.

Freakin' Cinderella was NOOOOT looking my way, and I was sad, haha. It would've been an awesome photo, too. At least Fairy Godmother was showing us some love.

And you know what? PRINCE CHARMING WASN'T EITHER! What is the deal with you two, huh?! Hahaha.

I LOVELOVELOVE Dopey's mine cart float. I think all of the gems are so pretty and Dopey is pretty much the cutest ever.

Looking at this photo of Pinocchio, there is something creepy about it... like he's plotting an attack. I think it's the shadow on his face.

This is the one float I find really creepy. I mean, it's a giant head that looks like it's going to eat everyone.

Oh, but we can't forget about Pete. Creepy Pete. But I LOVE his dragon, I have to say. It's so fun to photograph and take video of!

And of course, the grand finale, we're getting mega cheesy and patriotic, because GOD BLESS THE USAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

After the parade ended, our group of now 7 decided that it'd probably be fun to go on Pirates together, since it'd probably have less of a line than some other rides.

It was a total walk-on, and we enjoyed ourselves, no surprise there! It reminded me a lot of when I first met Rachel last year during our trip and we ate Dole Whips and rode Pirates. I wish she was there at the same time as us!

We got off of Pirates and decided we needed a group photo together! Matt also somewhat knew the group from IG, so we got a fabulous photo all together!

We parted ways with the 3 of them, since we were planning on heading back to the resort to get some rest. It was so much fun meeting them and hanging out!

As the 4 of us made our way out of the park, we stopped on Main Street for some PhotoPass photos!

Main Street was pretty busy, but that didn't stop me from taking photos of it in all its beautiful glory.

We caught a bus back to Beach Club, then headed back to our rooms. I have it noted that Matt and I spent another night of laughing at absolutely nothing before we went to bed. We're a pretty ridiculous duo, I won't lie.

I caught up on my trip journal, then I'm sure promptly fell asleep after a fun and more laid back day!

Tomorrow... we unfortunately deal with some tears, you'll finally get the story behind part of my trip report title, and you will all see the most hilarious attraction photo that has ever been taken on any of our trips, ever.

Yeah, I'm not joking.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY AREN'T BRINGING SPECTRO BACK??????? I thought it was just on hiatus.

I always take a picture of my Dole Whip. But that's because one time I was in Disney with my friend, and sent a picture of one to my mom who was at my team's soccer game (my dad was the coach). My friend and goalkeeper, Kelsey, saw it, and was mad because it had been cold and rainy while I was enjoying the Disney sunshine. So the next time she was in Disney, and I was in NC, she sent a pic of the Dole Whip to me to rub it in. So now it's just tradition to send each other pictures of one while the other isn't in Disney. We love each other like that.

I have a great picture of the back of Pooh. The funny thing is, you can CLEARLY see the zipper on his costume

Dad tried to get a picture of Elliott the last time we saw MSEP, but he decided to go "invisible" right then. So we've got some great (sarcasm) pics of Pete seemingly floating in the air.

I am constantly randomly laughing about things. And then Joe laughs at me because I'm being ridiculous. There have been times where he can "tickle" me without even touching me. He literally just holds his finger about an inch away and I start cracking up. Luckily, this weirdness hasn't deterred him and he still claims to love me.

All I want is a man who will rock some Mickey ears and put up with my obsession. Sam tolerates it, but Mickey ears just aren't gonna happen.
I am so in love with all the photos from MK. It makes me very excited to be back in just 9 days!!! <-- Bluth banana. Oh you know I would love to ride Dumbo with you at night, by the way. Katelyn and I did that in November, the water and lights make it magical.

Oh, and that photo of Matt sneaking a peek a the mine train progress is just amazing. I want to show it to Sam and all my friends that just don't "get it".

So this is the one where you meet my friends and I'm not there. Happy and sad feels.
I know MSEP is your favorite, and I love it too. The retro-cheesy goodness of it all makes me get the warm fuzzies. Plus there is an amazing salute to America in there and you know I love that part for reasons Matt has brought up in your last TR. I'm sure he could actually write a completely new song for describing the Vacation Kingdom's undying patriotism. Maybe it is a subtle way to remind the tour groups to behave. Sorry I'm not sorry. All of that aside, I would love for you to see Spectro glide down Main Street, USA as well.
Dopey's float is the cutest thing ever, and Pinocchio looks like the should have a maniacal laugh.
I find it hilarious that I was just going on about patriotic cheesiness then you post a picture of the America segment in front of HoP!

I have now ridden POTC with all 5 of you and I must say I wish I could have been there. I think there's room for me in that photo.

That's so great you got to watch MSEP with some DIS friends! I have never been much of a parade person, but MSEP is one I don't mind watching. I think it's a little more special because we first saw it as part of Summer Nightastic when we took our super last minute trip to WDW for a weekend, and I was just so excited to be back in my happy place! And then seeing it with Paxton last year was just such a wonderful experience. Now I'm a sap for that parade! I wouldn't be devastated if Spectro made a comeback, but for now I'm enjoying MSEP.

That is SO cute how Alice started talking to Matt about his ears! I never seem to be able to understand what she was saying, so I always thought it was a prerecorded voice! I'll have to pay better attention now to see if I catch anything she says.

SERIOUSLY. What is that giant head even from?!?! It's just weird and creepy in an otherwise happy and friendly parade.

Yum dole whips!! I have to say I get bad with snack photos, I usually end up taking a bite or two and then remembering to grab a picture! I definitely do enjoy the parade, it’s getting a little old now, but it’s still fun, and the music is great to dance too! How cute that Alice loved the buzz ears! Yay!

Ugh MSEP! I'm not a fan! I mean, I am because it's classic Disney and I remember it from my childhood trips but that MUSIC! It drives me crazy! I'm much more of a Spectro girl! Bring back SPECTRO!!!! Have you heard the Spectro soundtrack??? OMG it's perfect. I can't even listen to it because it's so freakin perfect sometimes. The Disney magic in that 15 minutes of music is just too much for me.

That's an awesome story about the Dole Whip photos, haha. For whatever reason it's just NEVER the right time for me to take one during my trips! I'm determined in September to make sure I get a good photo of it.

Haha, I try my best not to spot zippers... I do a pretty good job of it because I'm too busy being a 5 year old again and thinking I'm meeting the REAL LIFE characters. Hahaha.
