I'M JUST SHOWBOATIN' AROUND THE WORLD! & getting pooped on. Jan 13 TR! NEW TR POSTED!

Awwhhh what a fantastic video!!!!!!

That seriously made me so so so happy!!!

You guys are just so freakin fun!!! :goodvibes

WOWOWOWOW!! That video is awesome!! So PROFESSIONAL and sooo much fun in 11 minutes!! You've captured that excitement of Disney perfectly. :cool1:

I'm inspired to try the same with our forthcoming trip (although I'm usually quite rubbish and take lots of video the first day and then forget until the last day!!). :headache:

Been following your trip report and your video is absolutely wonderful! You really captured the magical feeling of disney pixiedust: Love it and can't wait for more updates!

OMG! I LOVE your video! So well done! You people are so freaking fun! We don't get to go to the World until June so your TR and video is so helping me to get by (and making me want to get there sooner). Can't wait to read more! :-)

You did SUCH an amazing job on the video! As I was watching, I tried to make a mental list of all the things to mention, but then the list just got too long. :rotfl: Wonderfully done, and brought a huge smile to my face and sometimes tears to my eyes because I just can't WAIT to be back there!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that video!!! Your trip reports are always so awesome, I look forward to all your updates! Keep up the great work!:cool1:

YAY!!! I just watched the video - and that was FLAWLESS.

Omg the bonus features had me cracking right up LOL!!!! Amazing job Dani!!!! You and Matt are adorable - and your friends Bruce and Amy seem to have had a magical time~

I can't wait to watch the video when I get home today!

I wonder how you say Thank the Phoenicians in German. Hmm....

Hahahahaha I love the story about monorail guy and your car. I sometimes play the monorail loop through my car speakers just so I can pretend that I'm on the highway in the sky.

I know I already emailed you, but I had to stop by here to echo what everyone else is saying. The video is just amazing! You did such a great job.

Listen, I already told you how much I loved this on the Twitter... but seriously Dani, it is amazing. I think you did such a fantastic job on it and I just love being able to see Dis people having an amazing time and learning a little more about who they are! :thumbsup2

Aww thank you so much Susie! I'm so happy you loved it and yeah, I was so excited when you told me you watched it! Glad it has your approval!

ahahaha I love that anniversary story I'm sure my hubby woulda reacted the same, actually he probly woulda hammed it up a bit Lol.
I have to agree sally's tr is Epic!
Oh I love sending disney mail to friends so fun!
OH MY HOMER DROOL!!!!! Disney Strawberry Shortcake is better than anyother .AGGGGHHHH best ring tone ever!!!!
Oh I love your jessie ears I need those!
Loved your vid great job,and i'm sorta jealous cause i have no technical skill whatsoever.

Hahaha, it was so darn funny!

Sally's TR is hilarious. It just cracks me the heck up every time I read it!

I agree, sending it is so much fun, and receiving it when you least expect it is just as amazing!

HAHAHAHA I loved your "HOMER DROOL" saying. I've never heard that before but it made me laugh out loud! I agree, Strawberry Shortcake at Disney is just the best.

Those are actually Woody ears! I think they sell Jessie hats for kids with her hair and everything. They're super cute!

And thank you very much! Ya know, I didn't have a ton of experience using iMovie but I just sat down and worked with it and I think I did okay! I'm sure I have much to learn but this wasn't too shabby!

OH MY GOD!! I love this so much! I just posted it on Twitter so all my followers can see. IT'S MAGICAL! You're camera is amazing, first of all, oh my God I wish I could get quality footage like this. Secondly, you and Matt are even cuter in motion. LOL. I love the whole feel of the video and the music! It all made me so emotional! You could just see on all your faces how much it means to you, I really couldn't help but cry because I know exactly how you feel. :smickey: aaaaaaaahhhhhhh

Aww Lia, as I said already to you, thank you thank you thank you! You are awesome and I'm so happy to really GOT it.

Hahaha, I'm glad you think our dorkiness is cute.

GAH I dunno, your response just makes me really happy because the way you are describing your reaction to it is how I felt about it, so knowing someone else felt that just is awesome.

LOVED it!!!! It made me LAUGH, TEAR UP, SMILE, and feel like I was right there! ...it was perfect!!! :goodvibes Margaritas and Maracas, my favorite part...oh and Matt "showboating"! :lmao:

Thank you Karen!! I'm so glad you loved it and it made you tear up, too! I feel like less of a mushy dork knowing others got a little teary, too.

Hahaha the margaritas/maracas crack me up, too! Especially because Amy's sombrero was far too big for her head so she was struggling to keep it from flopping over while shaking her maraca. :lmao:

OMG, the showboatin' still kills me. Now you get the title! I'll have to explain it more later on, but that is waaaay later in our trip.

Loved your video!!! Great job!!! :goodvibes

Thank you!!

OMG! I just went through all of your updates, trying to get caught up on your TR, wrote these ridiculously long comments, and somehow closed the stupid window I was using, so now it's gone! :sad2: AHHHH!

OH NOOOO! I've had that happen and it felt like one of those slow-motion moments of like, "click...... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" That is sad, and deserves a wompwomp.

Well, I read every update, and I'm caught up! I'm going to try to remember a few things...

I'm glad you're all caught up!! I love your epic comments!

The Beach Club! I love it! I loved seeing all of your pictures, it's such a perfect place, I really feel like I'm home when I'm there (and at Wilderness Lodge!) I like trying new places, but I just cannot stay away from BC and WL! :)

I'm glad you understand both my love for BC and also not wanting to stay away from it! I just can't do it unless I HAVE to stay somewhere else... but when presented with the option of staying at BC, I just can't say no! Except I could see myself staying at WL for sure at some point!

Isn't walking into Epcot the BEST feeling ever? There really are no words! I love using the IG too, it's like your own private entrance! :woohoo:

Um, yes it is! And IG IS like your own private entrance! There's never a massive line to get in, and I just love it.

I kind of feel the same way about new Test Track...like, it's good, it's fun, but why did the bother changing it, it was fun the way it was, and it made sense! I feel like this new version makes NO sense! Ahh well, I only go on it for the outside part anyway!

YEAH EXACTLY! I just don't really understand why they felt the need to refurb it. The outside part really is the best part. :thumbsup2

I can't believe they play LOTR music in the Norway church!! How have I never been in there??? I think I'd die of happiness hearing LOTR music in Disney World...they're probably my 2 favorite things in life! (Well, 2 out of 3, my third being Christmas! )

OMG girl, get your butt in there next trip! It IS the LOTR music and it's fantastic because I'm not sure how many people notice! Also, I'm glad you enjoy LOTR because I LOVE IT. Well, thanks to Matt, really!

I think we might be the same person. Christmas and Disney are Matt and my TWO FAVORITE THINGS! AHH seriously.

I just don't get School Bread! I tried it once and I didn't like it, I thought it was dry and just not good! Maybe I got a bad batch or something? I don't know, but it looks SO good, and I love coconut, so maybe I'll try it again! Everyone seems to love it, I'm beginning to wonder if there's something wrong with me?

Nah, it's not you. I know a lot of people who don't like it! I think you have to really be okay with the bread part of it to really enjoy it, since it IS different. However, I've heard of people getting "bad" ones that were too dry! I could see it not being as good if it wasn't very filled with custard.

Mmm, strawberry shortcake from Sunshine Seasons though, I could eat every day of my life! I LOVE The Land! That whole pavilion is just wonderful! :cloud9:

OMG, I love it so much. I can't get anything else from there because it's just that good.

Awww, Disney CM's saying Happy Anniversary to Matt and Bruce is just too sweet! Little things like this make me love Disney SO much more than I already to! :upsidedow

It was adorable! I still smile when I think about it. :goodvibes

OMG! I died when I read that whole "Please Stand Clear of the Doors" story!!! :rotfl2: Love it! That's my text tone, I have "Legacy" as my ringtone...whenever people hear my monorail text thing, I get weird looks, it would be nice if ONE person would recognize it! :rotfl:

Hahaha I'm glad you get what I'm talking about! It was seriously so funny and couldn't have been timed more perfectly for Matt to call my phone!

My text is Wall-E saying "WAAAALLLL-EEEEE", hahaha. I've gotten some ridiculous looks. I'd high five a person if they got my ring tone though, for real.

Haha, OMG I love the monorail meltdown! You guys just look like you're having the best time ever!

Bahaha I still have no idea why Bruce did it but it cracked us all up. We were having a blast!

And your video! :dance3: I LOVED IT!!! Makes me want to attempt to make a video on my next trip, but I have no idea how to even do it, and I don't think it would be as fun with just 2 people! You are so lucky to have friends to go to Disney with, Brandon and I have NO Disney friends! Yeah, we have people occasionally say "we should go to Disney together" once in a while, but then when we seriously ask them, they can't be bothered! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE MISSING OUT ON!!! It's so much better than lying on a beach or something! Ugh! :rolleyes1

Awww, thank you! You should totally make one on your next trip! Okay, I won't lie, it is kind of a lot of work, but really not that hard! But I agree, without more people it's kind of hard.. because I doubt I'd ask some stranger to take video of Matt and I walking in Tomorrowland, hahaha. But you could make something fun, I mean, I did make a mini one of our Disneyland trip when it was just the 2 of us!

And trust me, I get what you mean about not having Disney friends. Bruce and Amy thankfully both enjoy Disney, but even then, they're not into Disney like Matt and I are. We still had an amazing time, and yeah, those people have no idea what they are missing out on! It's a travesty, really.

So yes, I loved your video, it was perfect! I hope everyone on the DIS gets to see it, because it truly epitomizes the happiness you feel during a Disney trip! :goodvibes

Thank you again, so much!

You know we love it!! ALL of us!

Ten thumbs up!

Brynn saw the IASW part and remembered y'all took a picture for her! And Julia cracked up at your sombrero antics!

Totally get it about the copyright thing. It stinks because I know so many more people would watch our video if it could play on mobile devices! Ours does play on mobile on Vimeo, and we only have a free account, though. However, it won't play on our xbox? Totally confused.:confused3 We did find that if you download the McTube app instead of the YouTube app, it will play on mobile! WEIRD!

AWWW YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! I love that it got so many thumbs up (but I removed them from the comment so I didn't hit my image limit, hahahaha).

I love that Brynn remembered that! She's so stinkin' cute. And I love that Julia enjoyed our ridiculous sombreros and maracas dance. We're dorks!

Ugh yeah, I have no idea. I finally figured out a way to upload it to Vimeo for free, just not in 1080p HD, but whatever... It works and now people can watch on their mobile devices, so YAY!!

OMG !! That video was a whole bunch of awesomesauce !! Love, love, LOVED it !!! :worship: :lovestruc

Can you tell me how you made it ?? I mean what program did you use ?? Seriously amazing !!

Thank you so so much!! I'm so happy you loved it, seriously!

I used my Nikon D5100 with a 35mm f/1.8 lens for filming (and I think one clip was actually from my iPhone).. The program I used was iMovie on my iMac! It is an awesome movie maker, but I know there are a TON out there that do an amazing job!

Love your video :thumbsup2 Looks like you guys had an awesome time. Can't wait to go back home with my family :grouphug:

Thank you thank you thank you! We really had an amazing time.

And I agree, Disney World is home... and I can't wait to go home, too.

Love the video! It makes me want to learn iMovie :)

Thank you so much! And yeah, honestly, I'm STILL learning it. The good thing is that it actually is pretty easy to learn once you figure out certain functions!

Yeah, I was able to watch it on my iPad! Great video of your trip. It was really sweet! It would be a perfect promo. for Disney to use. It makes me want to go back to WDW. :)

Awesome, I'm glad my Vimeo link worked out well for you!! I was bummed out when I realized it couldn't be watched on YouTube through mobile devices, but it's all solved now! Woohoo!

Anyway, thank you so much! It makes ME want to go back right now, hahaha. Thanks for the wonderful compliments and also for taking the time to watch it!

OMG!!!! I love that video! Fantastic job! :thumbsup2

I have to ask you, what songs did you use and who are they by? I especially love the first and last one! Can't wait to read more of your TR!

Aww thank you!! :) I'm so happy you liked it!!!

The songs that I used were (in order of their appearance):

1. Imagine Dragons "On Top Of The World"
2. From the movie Beasts of the Southern Wild, "Once There Was a Hushpuppy"
3. Death Cab For Cutie, "Stay Young, Go Dancing"

Hi Dani,

Loved, Loved, Loved the video! You really did an awesome job on it. Made me laugh and tear up a little! I love reading your trip reports and the video just made me feel like I was there too! You guys are so awesome together...you are very lucky to find a man who likes Disney as much as you do! Can't wait to read more of your trip report. I just finished reading your Disneyland trip report and loved it. We are going there this summer...can't wait!

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Aww thank you so so so much for the kind words!! Seriously, this comment just made me very happy! And I feel VERY lucky to have a husband who loves Disney as much as I do, and in fact, is one of the biggest reasons I love it as much as I do/why I fell in love with it!

You are going to LOVE Disneyland! I can't wait to go back at some point; we're hoping for another November trip! :goodvibes

We just finished watching your video on the iPad and it worked great. You did an awesome job and now we are even more excited about our September trip if that's possible :).

I'm so happy you guys were able to view it on your iPad! And thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! I am beyond excited to go back, as well, as I already miss it so much. I'm glad this got you guys even MORE excited to go in September!!

Loved the video!

Thank you so much! And thank you for watching it! :goodvibes

Awwhhh what a fantastic video!!!!!!

That seriously made me so so so happy!!!

You guys are just so freakin fun!!! :goodvibes

Aww Sally, thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and find our ridiculous antics to be fun!! Hahaha, I have no shame when in Disney World!

:headache:

THANK YOU!! :) That is seriously such an awesome compliment and what I was going for. I just wanted to capture what Disney is like for us and why we love it so much!

You should totally give it a shot if you can! I have to admit it can be really hard to remember to record things but this trip I made a serious effort to take video and I'm SO glad I did. I am going to cherish this video for a long time to come! I really think you should try, too!

Been following your trip report and your video is absolutely wonderful! You really captured the magical feeling of disney pixiedust: Love it and can't wait for more updates!

I'm so happy you loved it! And that was exactly what I was going for, so to hear you say that is just such an awesome compliment. So thank you!! It really means a lot to me. :goodvibes

OMG! I LOVE your video! So well done! You people are so freaking fun! We don't get to go to the World until June so your TR and video is so helping me to get by (and making me want to get there sooner). Can't wait to read more! :-)

Aw thank you!! Hahaha, I'm glad you think we're fun and not just a bunch of weirdos (well, we kind of are)! We just are SO happy when we're in Disney World, and I know you get it!

That is SO exciting you are going in June!! My TR should last for a long while so I hope you stick around, and as you get closer to your vacation, even more excited!!

Thanks again for the wonderful comment. :goodvibes

You did SUCH an amazing job on the video! As I was watching, I tried to make a mental list of all the things to mention, but then the list just got too long. :rotfl: Wonderfully done, and brought a huge smile to my face and sometimes tears to my eyes because I just can't WAIT to be back there!

Thank you!! And that's such a wonderful compliment, haha. ;) I'm so with you though, going through it I just want to be back there right now... watching the castle while on the PeopleMover, or looking at the Castle's reflection, or walking through Tomorrowland holding hands with Matt... I can't wait to go back. :goodvibes

LOVE LOVE LOVE that video!!! Your trip reports are always so awesome, I look forward to all your updates! Keep up the great work!:cool1:

Thank you so much, seriously. Your comment made me really happy and just makes writing these updates SO worth it. Seriously, I mean it! Thank you again. :goodvibes

YAY!!! I just watched the video - and that was FLAWLESS.

Omg the bonus features had me cracking right up LOL!!!! Amazing job Dani!!!! You and Matt are adorable - and your friends Bruce and Amy seem to have had a magical time~

Aww thank you so much!! Seriously, that's such a nice compliment!

And yeah, we are mega dorks, so I had to add those in. Some of them have a story behind them (like Bruce saying "DON'T TALK TO ME" and Matt's showboatin'), so I can't even wait to share those in this TR!

We all had an amazing time, and since it'll probably be the only time we go to Disney as just the 4 of us, it's definitely something I'll never forget!

Thank you again for the wonderful comment!

EEE! I'm beyond words excited for you to watch it and see what you think!! You'll have to let me know! :goodvibes

Bahaha, I don't know, I should ask Bruce.

OMG yeah, the monorail guy was the funniest thing ever. I need to do that with the monorail loop in our car! That would be delightful; pretending to be on the monorail while we drive along!

I know I already emailed you, but I had to stop by here to echo what everyone else is saying. The video is just amazing! You did such a great job.

Aww thanks Rachel. I knew I had to send it to you RIGHT away! And I'm just so happy you watched it and liked it, it means a lot! :goodvibes

Your video with really lovely to watch! Such wonderful quality. I especially like the shot of Tinkerbell starting Wishes and the monorail driving through the CR. Ya'll look like sch a fun group and so full of joy! It was a pleasure to watch.

Thank you so much! It's not perfect but I think it came out pretty wonderful... I love that shot, too! It worked out that she flew right over us!

And I also loved that Contemporary shot... being able to see the huge mural makes me happy. Plus a monorail! I mean, perfect moment! All during one of my favorite times of day to be heading to MK, at dusk. :goodvibes

Thank you again for the wonderful comments and taking the time to watch it! I really appreciate it. :)

OMG I loved it!!! Thanks for making me smile and laugh!!!

Thank you thank you thank you!! I'm glad it made you smile and laugh, because that was part of the reason I put it together... to make people smile and feel happy! That's what Disney World seems to give all of us.

Thank you for watching it, it means a lot. :goodvibes

Thank you so much! And yeah, honestly, I'm STILL learning it. The good thing is that it actually is pretty easy to learn once you figure out certain functions!

Did you use a resource to begin learning it? I was trying to make a video of our drinking around the World experience, but gave up because I had no idea what I was doing

Haha no, I just sat down and started using it! But there were a couple of times I opened the "Help" section if there was something I couldn't figure out. I use iPhoto and Lightroom a lot and it's got a similar layout to it. I'm sure there are probably guides to iMovie online though!

Chapter Nine: I am home.
Day 2: January 18th, 2013

The rain finally was starting to let up, which was very exciting!

Matt decided that he really wanted to take video of me seeing the castle because I always get emotional when I lay eyes on it for the first time during our trip. Those of you who watched my video of course saw that whole thing!

file_zps8bafe07c.jpg

Walking into Magic Kingdom and seeing the familiar sights of Main Street (along with people in their ponchos) was the last little piece I needed to confirm I was finally back. I mean, I love Beach Club obviously, and being in Epcot again was wonderful, but Magic Kingdom brings it all together.

I walked up a bit and spotted the castle and I stood there for a few moments in my own little bubble of bliss... and then turned to Matt who had the camera in my face, trying not to cry, hahaha. I'm not even the type of person who cries at these kinds of things! But for some reason this trip, little things were just getting me.

file_zpsd6bd034f.jpg

I snagged my camera back from Matt and we just slowly made our way down Main Street.

file_zps5d0f5676.jpg

file_zpsf9ac30f7.jpg

We spotted a PhotoPass photographer and decided this would be a great time to get our first photo together!

Photo0383FourBySix_zpsa86a5edf.jpg

Photo0389FourBySix_zpsa4ab36d1.jpg

This next photo made me laugh, mainly because Matt is throwing up a John-Bender-at-the-end-of-Breakfast-Club fist, and Bruce... well, I just don't even know what is going on with Bruce. We'll just say he seems overjoyed.

Photo0390FourBySix_zps749d35f7.jpg

After we were done with getting our photos taken by the photographer, we asked Amy what she thought and she had a very similar feeling that I had when we went to Disneyland - everything just seemed slightly.. off. It's a very odd feeling when you walk into a place that is so similar to what you're used to, but at the same time, there are little things missing or slight differences. As I described it, you feel like you're in Bizarroland or something. But she also thought Cinderella Castle was beautiful!

file_zps54abb8cf.jpg

We took a few photos of our own on my camera in front of the castle, which I thought came out pretty adorable.

file_zps9d738076.jpg

file_zpsf0386457.jpg

file_zpsf0d63b0d.jpg

I think we were all itching to go explore some more, so we headed over towards Tomorrowland to get some Space Mountain Fast Passes.

I obviously couldn't stop taking photos of the castle because of its perfection.

file_zpsb5eb216a.jpg

file_zps59786a30.jpg

file_zps7fdddc07.jpg

See? We really did make our way over there, I'm sure after a bunch of "DANI HURRY UUUUP!" comments from Matt.

file_zps7e06bf1b.jpg

The wait time for Space Mountain was gross, and Space Mountain Fast Pass return time was during our dinner reservation. So we figured we'd go burn some time before we'd go back and get FPs by riding one of my favorites, the PeopleMover!

On our way over, I think it was Bruce, spotted this woman who he described as having eaten Cookie Monster. Confused, I turned around and spotted her. I'm kind of notorious for taking photos of people doing weird things or wearing odd things. I can't help it. So I took a secret photo of this lady in all her Cookie Monster glory, just for the sake of this trip report.

file_zps8bc6fff8.jpg

There was actually a LINE for the PeopleMover and it was kind of congested in that area. These people walked past us and the woman actually pushed Matt out of the way without saying excuse me. Matt isn't the type to say anything, but I could tell he was annoyed.

Me, on the other hand... I don't deal well with rude people, especially when it comes to Matt. I just don't, and I get very protective.

So the woman and her husband walked right in front of us, and I thought they were cutting the line, so I just said, "Um excuse me, the back of the line is back there." and the husband snapped at me, "WE'RE NOT IN LINE."

Yeah, he got a little nasty.

That was the last straw for me, and as I like to put it, I "went Boston" on the guy, snapping right back at him, "Okay well then keep moving and get out of the way, and tell your wife not to shove my husband again."

Uhhh yup.

I was so annoyed with Crabby Cathy and Crabby Carl and I just wanted them to go far far away from my happy place. You're in Disney World, it's busy and crowded, but there's no reason for you to shove people or snap at people... but if you're going that route, I will bite right back at you.

Crabby Carl shot me a look as he walked away, but I didn't care. YOU WILL NOT SHOVE MY HUSBAND OR RUIN MY HAPPY MOOD.

Fortunately, I was about to step foot on the little moving walkway and I was escorted away to my favorite place in Tomorrowland, inside of a PeopleMover vehicle!

I've always really enjoyed the PeopleMover, but for some reason this time I was just beside myself with happiness to be on it!

We started pointing things out to Bruce and Amy as we went along.. I just love that you get a great overview of the Tomorrowland area.

file_zps2b1e140b.jpg

And who can complain about beautiful view of the castle?

file_zpsf72f01ad.jpg

I spent most of the time taking in the sights as we rode along, but don't you worry, I ended up getting a lot more photos because clearly this wasn't going to be my only ride on the precious PeopleMover.

We went back to Space Mountain to see if FPs were a little later but they were STILL showing up during the hour of our dinner. See, that the one thing I dislike about ADRs and the new FP return time enforcement. I usually really didn't care about the enforcement, but when you have a stinkin' ADR and FPs are only available during that hour, it's a bit annoying that you can't just come back later.

We decided since we were planning on being at the park for a long time, we'd go check out New Fantasyland to burn more time.

Continued in next post

Chapter Ten: Trying out LeFou's Brew and exploring New Fantasyland!
Day 2: January 18th, 2013

If your name is MARISSA or you don't want to see any photos of New Fantasyland, stop reading! I'm about to post some New Fantasyland stuff, and you'll see it a lot more in my TR, so I'll throw up spoiler alerts whenever I'm about to talk about it.

Okay, for the rest of you guys!

It was insane to see the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Rollercoaster! I took these on my iPhone, so not very good photos because it was raining again.. but I have some MUCH better ones later on in our trip.

file_zpsd035cab1.jpg

Seeing Beast's castle was something else. I mean, we'd seen it last year but we also saw a construction man standing right next to it, ruining the forced perspective, haha. But now everything just look so awesome!

file_zps2e83251a.jpg

Matt and I thought it would be fun to check out Gaston's Tavern, because we were both really wanting to try LeFou's Brew!

file_zps1db31c49.jpg

file_zps86330f4b.jpg

There wasn't a very long line at all, and when we got to the front, we decided it was clearly necessary to get our LeFou's Brew in a Gaston stein. I mean, how could you pass that up? I don't care if it's plastic and overpriced; we wanted that darn stein. Bruce and Amy didn't get anything as I don't think they were that interested in it.

We paid and walked outside since there wasn't any place to sit inside... but the decor in there was fantastic. I was too focused on wanting to try my LeFou's Brew to take any photos though, which is quite unfortunate.

file_zps59c09c4a.jpg

I love how the foam looks on it! As some of you know, it's got a mango foam on top and frozen apple juice with hints of marshmallow. Yes, it's the same drink you can find in Carsland in Disneyland. But we purposely didn't drink it while there so we could experience it first at Gaston's Tavern.

First sip...

file_zps30098162.jpg

Thinking about whether or not I enjoy it...

file_zpsb2ea9d48.jpg

I'm not a big mango person, but the foam on its own was pretty tasty. You need to drink it with a straw though to get all of the flavors, haha.

So that's just what we did!

file_zps80faf63e.jpg

We both really, really enjoyed this drink. I'd heard people say it was too sweet or whatever, but I found it to be no sweeter than regular apple juice. I also loved the way the marshmallow flavor popped up in it, too. We decided to move along while we shared our drink to check out the rest of New Fantasyland.

The Little Mermaid area looked fantastic.

file_zps3e30ec69.jpg

file_zpsffe81fa9.jpg

And apparently we were loving our LeFou's Brew as we walked, too!

Everything was pretty busy, and we tried to cut through over to Storybook Circus, buuut the path wasn't open due to the construction. This was kind of a bummer just because you have to go in the opposite direction to get out of New Fantasyland and that one entrance/exit area can sometimes get a bit clogged.

We finally made our way out and headed back towards Tomorrowland and Space Mountain was finally showing a later return time for Fast Passes, so we snagged some for 6:40pm.

We headed back towards the hub for more exploring while the parade was happening, and moved on to Adventureland!

Pirates had a super short wait, so we decided to hop on there. I don't have any photos from this, so I suspect I was taking video during this part of our day.

We all enjoyed Pirates, and Amy noted that the queue was VERY neat compared to Disneyland's, but the Disney World's really is quite short. And it is! Pirates in Disneyland has a ton of other scenes, but no mermaids! It was actually all of our first time seeing the mermaids and I thought they were a really neat addition.

After Pirates, we strolled through Frontierland just to check things out.

It was sad to see no Splash Mountain but oh my gosh are they really refurbishing it. You'll see a photo I took in a future post, promise!

Unfortunately, Big Thunder had a ginormous wait, so we continued on over to Liberty Square!

If you haven't figured out where we were headed, then you don't know my husband very well...

HAUNTED MANSION, OF COURSE!

The wait time said 40 minutes, but it didn't really look like it was actually 40 minutes, so we hopped in line since we had some time to burn before our dining reservation.

Matt was the lucky person to carry along one of these with us!

Since we were standing in line, I was able to get a photo of both Matt's awesome new lanyard he bought and also the PhotoPass+ card, for anyone who was curious how they look.

Our wait only ended up being 20 minutes, and we didn't totally mind it. It allowed me to take photos instead of holding up a line while taking them, haha.

Soon enough we were in the stretching room, and Matt was in his happy place.

We actually purposely waited to be the last ones out of the stretching room because we wanted to hear the whispers that you hear if you stay in that room for too long. They're so creepy but it's such an awesome touch! They tell you to "GET OUT!"... It kind of reminds me of the whispers on the show LOST, haha. Give it a shot sometime if you ever want to hear them by hanging back and letting everyone else in front of you.

There was a bit of a back up in the queue area, but again, it allowed me to snap a few photos I'd otherwise probably not get to take.

I love how much Matt loves the Haunted Mansion. In turn, it's made it one of my absolutely favorite attractions to go on, as well. Definitely in my top 5 I'd say.

The timing was perfect, as we walked over to our ADR that was for 4:45...

Next, we experience one of the coolest dining experiences ever... Be Our Guest!
