AKL standard view question

I have an AKL standard view room (regular resort room, not DVC) reserved for next March, and was wondering what the odds are of getting a standard room with a partial savanna view.

And, yes, I know if I want a guaranteed savanna view I should book that category, however, this is not a possibility for this trip unless the AP rates are better than the bounceback rates.

Thanks.

We typically stay over at Kidani, so I'm more familiar with rooms to request there. I went ahead and looked at locations for standard view (2Q or 1K) at Jambo and it looks like it would be a good idea to request Kudu trail. They all look like Savannah view rooms to me, but the system has some classified as Resort view (is that standard view??) I've also heard of calling Disney a few weeks before check-in and requesting an "obstructed view" room. Hopefully, someone out there will have a great standard view room for you to request.

Have you stayed at AKL before? We love it! The bead activities keep us busy until its time for s'mores at the campfire.

Yes, we used to stay at AKL all the time . . . then the room rates skyrocketed after the pandemic, and now we stay there very occasionally. But we've never stayed resort/standard view.

Thanks for the info! And hoping for more people to chime in. Meanwhile, I'm staying optimistic about our chances for a partial savanna view. And perhaps the AP discounts for March will be better than the bounceback rate was, but we wanted to book now, so we did.
