The next morning we got up bright and early for our pre-park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace. This was the one ADR that remained completely unchanged from 180 days out. Same date, same time, same place. Nicholas loves Pooh and Tigger, so we knew that this was a character meal we really had to do. I'd heard good things about breakfast and Mark loves breakfast (though neither T or I do) that we went with breakfast and I was able to snag a pre-park opening reservation, which was a bonus. This was actually our only breakfast of the trip and the only day where we ended up doing two TS meals (almost 11 hours apart though).
Before heading to the restaurant, we posed for a picture with the castle in the background. It was one of the pictures I most wanted from our trip and I'm so glad I have it. By this point it was close to ADR time, so we hurried towards Crystal Palace. I think we waited about 5 minutes before we were shown inside.

Just hanging out in front of the castle.
We were informed that we had just missed Pigglet and that we had a while before Pooh or Eyore came to the table, so we went to get food. My phone died on the way to MK and I forgot the charger in the hotel room, so no pictures of the food because Mark isn't into that. However, between the five of us, I think we tried everything. None of us were impressed with the bacon, though the sausage was ok. T and I both tried the breakfast lasangna and found it to be way too sweet. Each and everyone loved the Pooh's puffed toast, Alex still talks about it. All in all, we thought the food was very good.
Of course, the point of a character meal was the characters and I think Crystal Palace delivered. All the characters greeted my children warmly, gave them hugs and high fives. They all stayed a few minutes and we definitely got our money's worth out of them and the kids were enchanted. I would definitely go here again.

We paid for this meal OoP because on the way to MK, I managed to snag an ADR for that night and I knew of all our planned meals, Crystal Palace was the least expensive. It worked out to $130.
