I'm in the Twilight Zone and I'm miffed.......(Vent)

There seems to be forces working against me in my life for the last couple of days...

Here is the situation...I operate a Motel and Chalet business that will be getting very busy in the next few days. I work minimum 12 hours a day. (10-10) and I make thousands of decisions every week...I'm darn good at my job (If I do say so myself) I am the only one who works check ins and I answer every phone call and book every room...I am the only one who even knows what we have available or for what price....

Here is the pet peeve....


EVERYONE SEEMS TO THINK THEY KNOW BETTER THAN ME THIS WEEK....

Customers ask me questions then when I try to answer, they cut me off and answer it themselves and then I have to try to correct them and give the right answer...DON'T ASK A QUESTION IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO WAIT FOR AN ANSWER.....URRRGGGGG


Now my brother has butted into my business (which I own along with my DH and my folks) and he is trying to bully me and has sided with a 3rd party in a dispute...This is my business and not his and I am insulted that he just buts in....I told him to but out and I know what I am doing.

Yesterday I caught some local kids destroying our playground and I took them to my office and called their parents...The parent came and yelled at me...ME!!!! He threatened me and I yelled back...He threatened me in my own office...!!!


I am now taking the stance of Life is tooooooo short and I will not be bullied...I am going to book a cruise and spend a lot of money....I will no longuer care what people think of me...

It just seems that people are way too sensitive lately...I wish could tell evryone to lighten up...

Wow....... What a story.Why would the parents yell at you when it was their kids vandilizing the playground. But either way their are some forces working against you.

You were nice to call their parents. You should have called the cops.

Sadly, we live in a society where no one has any sense of personal repsonsibility. Everything is always some one else's fault.

The worst part is this parent yelled at me in front of the 2 boys and they left snickering at me....

This "person" has a house behind our motel. He had not hooked his sewer up to the city system and raw sewage was flowing from his house into the ditch that ran onto our property...The town said it could take up to a year to take him to court and have him pay for the hook up...He said he had no money and would declare bankruptcy before he would pay. We were just about to open a motel and could not have this stay this way while the the town tried to fix it....

We went to him with a proposition of we paying to hook him up to our line on our dime as long as he paid the yearly the yearly taxes on his hook-up after that...

This is how he repaid us by coming to my office and yelling at me...My dad is on vacation but when I told him this he called the jerk and said don't ever even look at my daughter or you will find yourself with no water and no sewer system and you will have me yelling at you...and much worse...

Never thought it might be a full moon....I'll have to check it out because this is not normal....

The situation my brother is upset about is that as a joke when talking to someone he knows I said...."Get out of here crazy man..." as a joke (it was a very lighthearted conversation and we were laughing---both of us this man and myself) and this guy then tells my brother I insulted him and called him crazy...Now my DB beleives him....

I can't win.

Sounds like a rough week, why not come by the Tagliarchy Vacation. we are on vacation from our island at WDW, but will return in a while.
