It was sunny and kinda warm for thiss time of year here. It usually doesn't snow on Christmas. We've had flurries before on Christmas but the only time I can remember snow on Christmas was when I was like 4 or 5. We don't get too many white Christmases around here - but that's a good thing because I don't like snow! :tongue:

it was nice here too but last year we had a blizzard on Christmas and we didnt go to my Grandmothers house Christmas morning like we usually do

Same here! We're in the Detroit area and I haven't seen snow for at least ten years - I woke up on Christmas morning and it was so gorgeous outside...a nice change from the hot temps down in Texas, that's for sure!

Where in the area are you? My whole family is in Allen Park, near Dearborn. It's great to wake up Christmas morning and look outside and see everything to be white. I agree about the temperature, I live in AZ where it always hot, so it's nice to get away. Where in Texas are you? I'm going to San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl on monday.

We're staying in Brighton - it's by Howell and about an hour away from downtown Detroit. I know where Dearborn is - we were around there visiting family yesterday! Crazy stuff...
I'm originally from Houston - have been living there for ten years now...when it was snowing up here, it was the first time I had seen it since we lived in Illinois. Brings back memories, lol - I was out on Christmas morning sledding down a hill in my grandparents' backyard at 10 a.m. Fun stuff...

wow, thats crazy. I also have family in Muskegon and Farmington Hills. But I love sledding and playing football in the snow. Can you ask for anything better than snow, especially on Christmas day??? I might be crazy, but I always volunteer to shovel my grandparent's sidewalk and driveway because I never get to do it, and I love being in the snow. Definitely a blast.
