I am hungry and I want to snack but I am trying to save my points because DH is grilling hamburgers tonight and I really want 2 - with cheese. Yummy!

It is sometimes so hard to splurge at the end of the day because you have to be so careful earlier in the day and all I can think about are those burgers which just makes me more hungry. Then to top it all off I am making a grocery list and planning next weeks meals so I just can't get away from thinking about food. :rolleyes:

Somebody tell me that I will make it....I know those burgers will be so worth it in the end. :sunny:
 
You CAN do this! Go find another diversion. Those lovely leetle munchkins in your siggie pic need someone to play games. Get down on the floor with them and play.

This kiddos are actually at daycare. I hurt my back a few weeks ago and the doctors have me on 90% bedrest at the moment so I am very limited in what I can use as a diversion. :(

I am sure I will be fine. I keep drinking water to try to fill me up but I think at this point it is mostly psychological hunger. :)
 
I was just going to suggest water. I like mine really really cold when I want to eat but am trying to wait. I also love sugar free chewing gum. I get the physical sensation of eating without the calories. You can make it until dinnertime. Just think of how good those juicy burgers will taste. Yum!
 

Oh, bedrest, sorry I didn't realize. Ok then more water and do the peealot dance till it's time.

Try some free food if you must much. A cucumber or some celery could take the edge off and give your mouth something to do...
 
the burgers? I hope that you made it and then just ENJOYED every little, last morsel.

We don't eat much beef burger but I am really into fresh ground (very lean) breast meat turkey (WalMart Superstore) and I spice up a bit and grill and it truly satisfies my burger "craving". Actually, I don't even crave beef burgers at all.

Do you eat protein bars at all? Another trick I use is to just have 1/2 of a Kashi go lean if it is 3 pts or a whole bar for 2 pt and a big glass of water and it generally does stave my hunger. I play the head game of "oh it's 1 1/2 or 2 pts. but REALLY that is a bargain when I think I am going down the "tubes" that is a lot less points than if I cave with chips, choc, etc.

Kidos are the cutest -hope that back is better soon :wizard: for you!!!!!
 
The burgers were GOOD and I am definitely not hungry right now! They were probably not the best choice but sometimes I just need to give in to the craving and plan for it and that makes WW liveable for me. :)

I did grab a plum as a late afternoon snack but I still had plenty of points left to enjoy the burgers. I still have 4 points I could use for the rest of the day but I am pretty full so I don't think I will need them. :)
 
YAY Becka!!! :banana: You did it! :)

It's 9pm here and I just made myself 2 pts worth of popcorn :teeth: Then a little later I'll have a Weight Watchers ice cream bar for 2 points, then I'm done for the day. I am trying to stick to the low end of my points range.
 
this looked like a good thread to post on -- i'm done eating for the day, not hungry any more but have 2 pts left -- now i don't need those 2 pts and it's already 7:30 -- i have regained enough to live off the land, no AP for me today so i'm done done done

whew, felt good to get that off my chest :)
