I'm hosting a party tonight and I'm just not into it

I think I 'm just worn out from the holidays. I'm hosting the town Democratic committee holiday party tonight, and I just want to curl up in my jammies on the couch instead No help with set up from anyone, including DH, everyone's "too busy". Anyone else had enough of the holidays ?

would come over and help but I have to work tonight, going in a 5, I wish I was having a party, I could use some cheeing up.

I feel your pain. I have already hosted four major meals (including a lunch buffet for 16) this season--stick a fork in me, I am done!

However, we are having friends over tonite, family for dinner tomorrow (dinner out, dessert here). I'm with you--enough is enough!

I told DH I will host nothing for at least two months.

Promise yourself a pampering reward tomorrow. Let everyone else fend for themselves.

I'm so exhausted tonight I don't even feel like going out to dinner or cooking. It's leftover or fend for yourself night.
