Yes it's me again. I don't know where I go wrong, but my travel plans are always jinxed!!!
Sadly I won't have time for a full blown trip report, so here are the highlights/lowlights.
Flew Northwest. Outward brilliant. Return a nightmare. Checked in to Tampa Sat am and after a saga of cancelled, oversold, and delayed flights due to technical difficulties after flying to Atlanta and Minnesota we eventually landed Mon afternoon at Gatwick. However the car was at Heathrow so it meant a further wait while Roger took the link to fetch the car. Oh and all our luggage had been sent on ahead of us by BA even though they had refused our transfer arranged by Northwest, so for 3 days we only had the clothes that we stood up in!!!!! So much for increased security!!!
However the trip itself was fantastic.
Didn't have one bad meal.
Ate at Lone Star Steakhouse, Planet Hollywood, Ohanas, Dragon Court, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Olive Garden.
Saw The Hoop De Doo Revue which was very funny.
Watched some amazing improvisation at The Comedy Club at PI.
Saw the New Year in at Epcot with incredible fireworks even though we were soaking wet. LOL
Of course we caught up with Simon who had treated us to the largest array of Disney Xmas presents on record (ah bless him )and
the weather on the whole was absolutely beautiful.
