Im Home! Some Disney observations.

Well I returned late last night from a 10 day trip to florida. Wow time just flew by!

anything specific anyone wants to know about Disney?

Some quick observations:

• Toy Story Mania is a lot easier than Buzz...on this ride each player has a certain color lazer to hit targets.
• The new restaurant in Downtown Disney (Dinasour themed Rainforest Cafe) looks like its coming along nicely. The opening says Fall 2008.
• I went into Exposition hall and watched Mickey cartoons and took pictures with the cutouts while the parade crowd exited the MK....it was very relaxing in there.
• Pizzafari wasn't was bad as I thought it would be! I got the breadsticlks and they were pretty good!
• I like the new Spaceship Earth because its more interactive but they kept a lot of stuff the same.
• I HATED the new Mexico ride. Ugh Donald looks so out of place throughout the whole ride, the new song isn't even catchy. It was horrible.

Well thats all I can really think of. Ill start my trip report in the next few days.

I'm very disappointed for the new Mexico ride, because the original was my favourite.

Not looking forward to the new restaurant. Hope they have no AA dinosaurs outside, or I might never visit DTD again...

Doesn't it feel like time flies by ten times faster in Disney??

I have a question! We're leaving in 13 days and I was wondering what the crowds look like. Did you wait long for most rides or how did the people levels seem? I've heard that the park attendence is less this year than in years of the past.

I want to see what Toy Story Mania is like, hopefully i'll have better luck on it than on buzz, everytime I ride my gun is broken. ( I'm not making this up as an excuse to why im bad, I made my dad switch places with me , and he's really good too, he agreed that it was broken )

I like the new Spaceshipe Earth so much better too! ( Although the stuff after the ride was my favorite )

I can't really say I liked the mexican ride before or after the new changes. Before it was not as enteraining as mos disney rides and after it just looked really cheesy.

It was busy, but no more than last summer. I took advantage of EMH and was fine. One night I rode Everest 3 times in a row and then got straight on Kali.

The only line I waited in was for Toy Story Mania.

i agree toy story mania is my favorite ride at MGM oh wait i mean Hollywood Studios hate the new name anyway i didnt like going to that park because i can't do the roller coasters so thank you disney for creating TOY STORY MANIA :]

I thought Toy Story Mania was easier than Buzz too, but they were both equally fun!!! and I didn't even notice i was wearing 3D Glasses, until i had to take them off

YES! It's totally ruined! I loved that ride before, it was so relaxing! Now they ruined it with Donald and the 3 Caballeros (or whatever they are)

And the new SE isn't that bad. I just can't stand the new narrator. Her voice is irritating. I miss the old one, the man. His voice was so nice.

I went to MGM on the 4th and it was EMPTY. I think most people went to MK and Epcot. I got on TOT 3 times in a row. I waited 20 min for RnR and then had fastpasses for later in the day. I didn't even arrive at opening!

haha I was talking the SE took the picture. I looked RIDICULOUS. Then when I got off the ride, on that big screen, I saw my histarically ugly face. It was pretty funny actually.

some good observations--glad to hear the new SE is good!!! I was worried about the reno because I loved the old oen!!
