I'm home from The Princess Ball

It was so much fun!!!! I had the best time!!! Yes, we stood in line outside in the rain. Yes, the monorail was late. Yes, the breakfast started late. But, so what? I had such a great time!!

Robin and Lori picked me up at DxL (sorry, I won't use that other name) around 6:25 am and off to the TTC we went with pins, green shirts and boas protected by our ponchos. Lori even had sparkling princess spray for all of us. By the time we got to the Boa Brigade breakfast table, we were drenched, but none of us seemed to care. The food was great, especially the bread (my table mates will know what I am talking about) and we had the best time sitting there in all our princess splendor! Of course, the real princesses were there, and we each got to take pictures with our faves. They all loved our boas!

Then the news of the mystery pin came and we all high tailed it over to the shope they were being sold at. Then off to do the pin map which concluded at Mickey's Starland where we picked up our free pin. We were then treated to "Storytime with Scoop" where we heard the hillarious story Rindercella (whose moral is...if you want to marry a pransome hince and hive lappily ever after, don't forget to slop your dripper)

So, despite my shoes taking 24 hours to dry, it was a "Ball"

Are you ready for the next ones....my boa is finally dry...and I have been trying to thaw since
Sat...now it is going to drop to freezing for the next 3 mornings, but at least it's not rain..

Glad you made it home safely.

We had such a BLAST!!! We had a great table for the breakfast, Perndwler, BeautyLLM, LovingTheMouse, Brer Rabbit. The food was excellant, our waitress was the BEST and the conversation was a riot "bring on more breads". Also at attendance for the breakfast, seated across from us in the other room were: Sorceror, Sorceror's Mom, Flitter, Figment2, Norwgn Mickey, please forgive me I know there was some one else. We all sat there in all our splendor wearing our boas. After we were done eating our breakfast we were able to get in line to get our RSP pins and map, this I thought was a great idea, we did not have to go to the veranda to get it. We were then off to go get the Tink pins. We later met up with Perdita and our pursuit began. What a great time we had playing follow the leader, watch out for that big puddle here and that stream there. A little later wemet up with JenWDWfan, GotAnyPins................and Raul. What a sight to be seen Ed in that wig!!! (see thread by Raul for pictures). Also saw DisneyUSA, Chef's Wife, Olbear, GoofyMom. The one person I really wanted to meet and could not find was Belle16127, hoping to someday meet you. Well everyone was getting tired and had decided to go get dried off and warmed up. Perdita and I had decided to see how long we could last. A short time later we met up with Scoop and to our very big surprise he awarded both of us CTT pins. We were so excited, no one would have ever known we had tears in our eyes, since we were sooooo wet. Thanks Scoop!! It certainly was a major topper for the day. Thanks to all for a really great day, good laughs and the pleasure of everyone's company. I apologize if I have left anyone out, I tried to remember everyone. Looking forward to the next time with great friends.

it was an "elegant" affair. It was so neat to meet people whose names and postings you have read for so long. The ladies had their boas, Rog and i had matching lime green shirts and Michael had his wonderful sense of humor - yes Michael, you did have me going a few times!!! Um, what was that i had on my face?????? The three gentlemen(Michael, Corey and Rog) at our table were delighful to have around and we did have many laughs over "breaking bread," lots of bread, together!! Hey, it was good! The smartest people were those who wore flip/flops cause there feet got acclimated to the wet real fast as opposed to those of us whose socks got soaked first and then the squishies set in for the rest of the day.

Sounds like the crew had a great time and a very rewarding one. Saw the pics, must have been a blast . by the way love the wig!!!!!!! Congrats to those who were awarded the CTT pins was a good weekend for the boa brigade, both friday and sat. not one or two or three , but four CTT's presented......got to be a record Way to go Ladies, all of you certainly deserved them.
