I just got home (again) from the hospital. That Chemo really hit me hard this time.
My WBC (white blood cells) were 1 when I went in. normal is 4.8-10-8. they are 3.6 right now. Still low but enough to be out of the hospital.
Everything else was low, potassium and sodium were drasticly low but they came up to normal after some IV's.
I feel so much better than I did on Tuesday when I went into the hospital. I really didn't feel run down and tired the way I should have with the counts I had but the fever made me tired and drained.
My next chemo is on the 21'st. The Dr is going to reduce the dosage by 10%. He said I won't have to get an extra dose but he can see that the dose I am on is too high for me. From what I hear the A/C is the hard meds, so when I start on the Taxol next month it should be easier.
Thanks again for listening to me complain, and thanks for the posts to Carolyn's topic. I appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers. Peggie
PS I sure do need to see Mickey though.
