And I think I actually like it here! I was scarred and everything but walking around my new house and neighborhood, I know I'll survive. I'm still nervous about HS but DUH! Every Frosh is worried about their first year. But I already love my new town and hey, Mall of America is only 30-45 minutes away! lol. The hard part will be not having my family here to support us but we'll stay in touch and see them a couple times a year. We got here yesterday after a very long 13 hour car ride.

And this is actually one of the best times to move, there will be a ton of new kids coming in freshman year, so you won't be the only new kid and it will be easy to make friends.

Thanks everyone for all your support. I really appreciate it. I am less emotional than I thought I'd be. I cried Monday night in bed and Tuesday morning when I said goodbye to my grandma. But other than that, I've handled this alot better than I thought I would.

I still can keep in touch with my friends. Thank god for texting! lol. I had a party last Saturday w/all my close family and friends. I cant wait to meet new friends. We have already met our neighbors. One has a 12 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son. The other has a 20 some yr old daughter w/ a baby. Our neighborhood is filled with swingsets and trampalenes(sp?). I havent seen too many kids. Im starting to wonder if the swingsets and trampalenes are for the adults. lol.

But I think I'll like it here. And my goal is to go back to NW Ohio for college on a volleyball scholarship. Hopefully, my wish will come true. lol.

Again, thanks for all your support! If I dont meet any RL friends, I know I'll always have my LD friends and DIS friends!

Havent been on forever because we just now got internet.

But anyways, I think I'm adjusting well. I have only met one person and she lives like 20 minutes from me and shes a year older. My brother and sister have a bunch of friends already! I dont know how they have more friends that me! lol.

I am excited for HS. I know it'll take some time getting used to but I'll be ok........I think. Volleyball tryouts are next week so I'll post what happens with that.

But yeah. Like my thread title says, Im here in Wisconsin, and I think I like it!
