I'm here...virgin voucher problem

Hi Everyone
Just to let you know we had a Virgin voucher to exchange for our Busch Gardens/Seaworld ticket...the one virgin promote that has unlimited use for 21 days...well it didn't say this in the voucher and they only gave me a day ticket that I could use a second time free!!! Not flipping likely...to cut a long story short they honoured it and gave us the 21 day ticket but they did so on my word...I had no (invoice left at home in the UK) proof that I'd paid for the 21 day dual ticket...so you guys at home ring Virgin and get your voucher to be made explicit or bring your original invoice as proof!!!

(Also had a prob with my car voucher...but it did get resolved and I got free upgrade to a minivan!!

Apart from that having a GREAT time...leaving for Busch Gardens in 10 mins...

Hope you enjoy your day at Busch. What was wrong with your car voucher? Is it easy to get to the Alamo car hire place from the airport?

I always take every piece of paperwork with me in duplicate. For eg. car voucher or hotel voucher 1 to hand over and one to keep with me so I have a copy for reference. Insurance paperwork carry 1 lot everywhere, leave copies in hotel.
Maybe I take too much but I want records if anything goes wrong.

Me too, I would rather be safe than sorry and take originals plus copies plus leave copies at home!

get your voucher to be made explicit or bring your original invoice as proof!!!

There must have been a mistake with your voucher unfortunately ~ as our voucher had 21 days printed on it.

Right dates wrong number of days!

Dollar, Alamo all rental companies have desks at the airport. Very easy to find...then with Dollar you just walk across to collect your car. Not sure about Alamo...but must be similar.

I always take everything with me now! Ive had a large amount of similar screw ups from Virgin Holidays - wrong park tickets, wrong car info etc!

A good tip you can use,If you get email conformations set up a folder and place everthing in it on an online email, Hotmail comes to mind.If when at desk any problems more than likely they have acces to internet,ask them can you retrive the emails and you can show them.We do this plus copys in paper

Its not just VH we had problems direct with Universal, as did some friends of ours, in 2004/2005 with the promotion for buy one year get second free! After that I have always taken confirmation of ticket bookings and any special offers.
