Anyone have any questions, or want pics of anything specific?

Jeff, Is the geyser over by the lagoon working.

Last time we were there the drought was so bad they suspended the operation.

Thanks

One thing that bothered me when I stayed there in December, are the fireplaces in the VWL lobby lit yet? It was the only fault that I could find there. :D

How far does it seem to the boat dock for the MK? I anticipate a long walk, but it will be fun to take the boat, I think. How are the elevators - is the building like BWV, where there is a long walk from the elevators to some of the rooms?
Hope you have a great stay!

I'd love to see what 'view' you have from your room; I'm assuming that most rooms look at (mainly) trees, but can you see over/around/thru them to the lake or to the MK area?

The boat ride from the Lodge to the MK is one of our favorite things to do at WDW. For those of you that have done it, you know what I mean. For those if you that haven't or didn't get it, try it. It's so peaceful and relaxing.....

How long is the boat ride from VWL to MK and how often does it run?

Paul in CT

The boats come about every 10-20 minutes depending on the time of day and time of year. The ride over to MK is about 10 minutes.

The fireplace in the main lobby was lit, but I have no idea if the other ones are lit. I will check.

The geyser - I honestly haven't seen. We were in the pool earlier tonight and it didn't go but I think it doesn't go at night. With the rain we just had, I don't think the drought is a problem any more. I will double check it.

The walk to the boat dock is prolly just over 5 mins, but depends on how much you amble along - it's not that long. I've never stayed at Boardwalk yet, so have no basis for comparison, and I'm on the first floor. The elevators are right as you walk into the main lobby, so it's pretty easy access.

Do you like it? Give us all the juicy details. That's my new home, and I'm not going to be able to visit for over a year. So, please, tell all.

Thanks,

Steph

The geyser is working, I've seen it a few times already.

The view from my room is woods. Most of the room are going to have a woods view, unless you are up high or down by the pool area.

It's nice and quiet. We haven't had trouble with loud neighbors or other 'noises'. A couple of times in the morning we've heard loud kids in the halls, but at normal times, not late or very early. We love our room, and the walk from the parking lot really isn't all that bad. Lots better than the walk I've done when I've visited Boardwalk. The walk up to the lodge isn't that too long(to fill our mugs), even after a long day at the parks. We love it. I'm sure my wife will look forward to the next time we stay here.
