I'm having emergency surgery this week.

I've been dealing with undiagnosed upper abdominal pain for almost 2 years now. Last week I had a CT scan. I got a call from my doc late yesterday. She made an appointment with my surgeon for tomorrow. Looks like I'll be having surgery this week. Wish me luck.

I'm FINALLY starting to feel better. I had a couple of terrible allergic reactions - the first to the suture tape, bandages, etc., and the second 8 days post-op to the IV antibiotics. I've just finished a round of prednisone which really helped. Now I've just got to start building my strength back up. We go to Disney on June 16.

Oh, I am sorry to hear about the adverse reactions... Glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery... I will have the kids put a note in the prayer boxes at school on Tuesday that you will be 100% for your vacation... Disney at 75% is much better than 100% at home so I am sure you will enjoy your vacation!

I am feeling MUCH better. My surgeon gave me the OK for our trip yesterday. I just can't carry anything. I can only lift 20 lbs. or less, so DH will have to carry all the luggage. He also said not to ride any rides that will jerk me around, but I got the OK for Splash Mtn. (my favorite), so I'm happy!

We leave Monday!!!!!
