We are having a picnic of our own here in NC, with 4 inches of snow.

It was coming down pretty good for awhile:

I know that isn't much to those up North but down here it shuts the place down. The Governor has declared a state of emergency.

:rotfl:
That cracks me up! My friend's family moved from the Boston area to NC and they always have stories of the havoc a "little" snow causes. Gosh, I have almost 4 inches in my foyer when the kids stamp off their boots:goodvibes

...but, anyway, drive carefully...that stuff is slippery.

(BTW, sorry to post w/o photos. I've enjoyed the ones posted. What a dork I am. I didn't even notice I posted on the photography boards.)

you aren't kidding,
we got stuck in a snow storm in NC/ Rock Hill SC one yr on the way to Hilton head, even though we could see the grass still it was worse driving than in some normal storms here since no salt etc:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:.the freeway was so bad we actually pulled over and stopped for the night instead of driving through 1 or 2 inches:rotfl: ..so be careful out there

Maybe I can bring a little sunshine? It was in the 60's here today.

Our neighborhood in Cary, NC today. I chose to live in the south so I DO NOT have to deal with snow.

Although, my DD had a blast and I did get a few snowballs tossed at her before she nailed me.

Got bored working from home so I decided to shoot a pano for fun.

Our Disney trip next week is looking better and better (and warmer)!

sunshine? trying to remember what that looks like, is it when the sky is that abnormal blue instead of it's usual grayish white?:scratchin

Looks familiar. We are loaded with snow here in NH too. At least 2feet in the back yard right now and that just the last few storms. The snow from the
1st few storms got rained away.

The ones from my yard didn't come out well enough to post.

poor bike's owner must not have anticipated a plow:rotfl: unless he is really really short?

:rotfl: This is exactly what DH does. We were sitting around the other weekend and it was snowing and he said "You know, we haven't BBQ'd in a while" and proceeded to take out the charcoal and lighter fluid and make us some burgers!!! :thumbsup2

do they take any longer to cook?
