I've been to lots of crops, but I've never hosted one at my house.

I am having about 5 ladies over tomorrow night for, what I'm calling, "Scrap & Yap".

I want everyone to have a good time - but get some croppin' done too. Does anyone have any ideas/advice to share on being a good hostess to make sure everyone has a great time??

make sure there is plenty of room to spread out. Have snacks on hand.
How about prizes? get some tickets and draw numbers? One for each guest, including yourself.

That's all I can think of. I go to one crop a month but all I ask for is room to spread. LOL I'm easy to please!

I hope you have fun!! I can't wait to hear about it.

I've got the food and drinks covered....

I only invited 4 BECAUSE of the space issue...otherwise, I would have invited A LOT more people.

I like the idea of the prizes...I've got TONS of embellishments that I could give away! Thanks!

Good lighting and trash receptacles........................P

Food AWAY from the scrap area. Don't want any accidents near the photos.

Soft music. Space and good lighting. That's about all I need. :) What time do I need to be there by?

We do this every Wednesday night. Can't say we get a lot done but its always fun. Makes for a very late night though.

Would LOVE LOVE LOVE for everyone to be here!

Now I'm stuck w/ this VARIO TAB DISPENSER and can't figure out how to refill it.

The sticky things stay on the roll when I pull on the tab. Can anyone help me?

HAH! I knew I didn't delete this pic for a reason!

What I did at my last crop seemed to work out well. TRADING!

I emailed everyone an invitation with time/date but I asked them to bring a handful of items they no longer thought they would use. Scrapbook items -- I knew no one had time to clean out their supplies so I just asked for a handful of things you may not use.

When everyone came in, they laid those items on the diningroom table. Then, after everyone got there, we all found something that someone else had brought to take and use. It was great.

I think we'll do that every time. I always end up with some extra papers or stickers that I bought in a pack that I'm not using. Someone might as well get some good out of it.
