So my trip as many of you know is 9/2-9/10 and I have been checking over and over again for park hrs to see if they happen to be expanded and as of now MK still shows 9-9 +2 hr emh on Wed which im hoping mean they dont expect crazy crowds
What do you think im hoping fairly small crowds considering but wont be extremely dissappinted if it isnt

You're going to be there over Labor Day weekend so crowds will increase a bit over that time period.

Yes that I know but I will only be doing Ak wed and I will be doing HS Tues MK wed & Thurs and Epcot Fri

The crowds on Labor Day weekend versus the crowds after Labor Day weekend are usually night and day. In the past, the crowd levels drop off dramatically. Some people have speculated that it will be busier this year but we'll only know once we're there. I personally think that it won't be as empty as previous years but will still be light and manageable crowds.

Labor Day weekend is more crowded than a "regular" weekend, but not dramatically so. Not really sure what your question is, but I think you may be asking about the hours being 9-9 making a difference for the crowd. No, I don't think it makes much difference if the park closes at 9pm or 1am as far as crowd size goes.

Just expect and plan for large crowds, and if they crowds are not bad then you'll be pleasantly surprised, don't think that there will be low crowds...Disney can, and often have, changed closing park hours the day before or same day so park hours have little to do with it, especially being a long weekend

we were at MK on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in 2015 and around 6 or 7pm they came over the loudspeaker (yes they have a loudspeaker hahah) and announced they were closing at midnight instead of 10pm...so i don't think they have a problem adjusting to the crowd level at the last minute....it probably saves them a lot of payroll dollars to plan for a low crowd and adjust if needed...

It will be fine. LD has a slight increase in crowds, but will drop off after the weekend.

I dont expect 1 or 2 crowds I know better but im hoping better than 5/6 crowds LoL im just hoping it wont be too crazy especially since crowd calenders are say 4s 3s and 1s during my trip time

Since you're talking 1's - 10's I assume you have a touringplans subscription. Just look at the actual historical crowd levels for the Friday before Labor Day to the Saturday after and you've have a good idea of what to expect for crowds.

By the way, you have to click into the actual date to see both the predicted and what the actual crowd level was. (Don't go by the predicted number, look at what the actual was)

I say, you can't change what they will be and really can't predict. I don't think park hours are necessarily an indicator of crowd levels, although they give an idea. Even WDW guesses wrong sometimes. We have been at MK on the Sunday before Labor Day and it was AWFUL. Really crowded. After that day, the crowds lightened up. But even if this year is extra bad due to the peak summer rates so more people possibly traveling after summer- you can still have a good time. 5/6's aren't that bad at all and are very manageable. A positive attitude regardless of crowds makes a world of difference.

Crowds aren't ever going to be "crazy" the week after Labor Day. All schools are back in session.

That may not mean it's "walk on" all rides or anything. FD will impact things like ADR's; MNNSHP will impact park hours; and it's becoming a popular time to visit since there hasn't been any major hurricanes in Florida in a decade and plenty of incentives (admittedly less than there used to be).

Im not doing ADRs I plan on doing MK on a evening EMH day and the day of mnnshp but not the actual party

I dont expect walk ons just hoping for no 120 min waits lol i was supposed to be in Aug but changed it to the first week of Sept hoping to not see summer crowds

I can tell you that we were there last year over Labor Day weekend and up until the Wednesday after. The crowds at MK on Saturday night were horrendous. So bad that we left. Now granted, we've been in May and September, and I wasn't expecting low crowds, but not like that. However, Monday was light, and Tuesday at MK was walk on everything except during the afternoon when the big named rides went up to maybe 30 minutes. Expect for higher crowds during the weekend, but it will definitely drop off. Two years ago, we were there Monday (Labor Day)through Wednesday and crowds were light.
