Last weekend we discovered a nest of baby rabbits in a planter on our backyard deck. The mother rabbit continues to come back to feed them (we've seen her several times and the carrots and other goodies we are leaving are gone as well).

The bunnies eyes are open and will probably leave the nest soon. It's remarkable how much they've grown in just a week. They are doing a lot of moving around and kicking and have widened the hole they were in significantly. There are 5 there, easiest way is to count eyes.

The first photo I took last Saturday, At first we thought there were only two but there were 3 others curled up under them.

the only thing we seem to be able to grow are wasp nests and geckos! :scared:

btw - is anyone else seeing nothing more than red x's? I wanna see bunnies!

I just love rabbits and bunnies!:goodvibes

I have really enjoyed seeing this thread and the one with the bird nest & robins!:)

Is there anything cuter than a baby, be it human or animal?:)

Sounds like you need a good rabbit stew recipe! ;)

They are so cute. Enjoyed seeing the pictures.

Momma bunny has started pulling the yungin's out of the nest.

That's the cutest thing I've seen all week, just to sweet ...keep the pictures coming !:thumbsup2

Very cute... we saw a baby bunny at Epcot last week munching on some of the leaves in the Flower & Garden Fest. :teeth: But it was mostly hidden by the plants so I didn't get a good shot. But we did see a fair number of rabbits here and there around the park.

Having had pet rabbits in the past, I much prefer wild ones now. :lmao:

I can see them now! :woohoo: Must have been something with my connection - it has been kinda of a pain lately.

They are soooooooo cute! How cool to have a bunny family right there so close.

I see momma rabbit built the nest strategically near where you were intending to grow a 'patio tomato' plant!
