I'm good at Dance Dance Revolution

So Santa brought DS 7 a Dance Dance Revolution for Christmas. He wanted me to try and I thought I would lose fast and go back to my coffee. It is pretty fun. I finally have a video game that I will play with my kids. Between that and the trampoline the grandparents bought, I should get a work-out with my boys this year.

DD11 got one from Santa also. I can't wait to try it out! Shhh, don't tell anyone though. DD13 got a karaoke, but it's not reading any CDs, so she wants to take it back and get clothes instead. *pout* I was really looking forward to singing along with that Grease CD. Kids should realize that Santa brings presents that the parents want to play with too!! Sheesh!

Oh how I wish we had a yard for a trampoline. I jumped on my first one this year, and I was having SOOOOO much fun! My kids were laughing at me, because I was giggling like a school girl.

We have Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2 for the playstation. DH just hooked up the second pad. So now I am going to go try to kick my son's tail on 2 player mode.

I love DDr. My son & his friends hook up 2-3 at a time and have marathons. One of my son's friends has done it so much he lost 20lbs! But the "funk" coming up from my basement

I love my DDR! The newest game is really good. I love the new mode with the points and the shopping. I'm working on 7 bar songs, but those about do me in still. (I can pass them, but not always pass the missions)

I've actually lost about 12 lbs myself since I've gotton it without changing anything else.

Bumping this because I just bought DDR today. I got Ultramix 3 for XBox.
I can't score any higher than a D on beginner, but I will keep trying. I'll have to check out workout mode.

I have a couple of other games for working out (Yourself Fitness and Kinetic), but I am limited in the space I have. This fits perfectly.

my 10 1/2 yr old DD got DDR too. She loves it. I think she got the Dance Revolution Extreme 3. Is there a three? Oh well I think I am going to use it alot to. Its pretty fun and I really could see how you could lose major weight with it. She has been doing it for at least an hour per day. It will be good for her.

She got it out New Year's Eve and everyone at our house tried it. There were at least two adults who wanted one after trying it. Hoping it will hope my waist line too.
