Time For Dinner! so after asking DH for help many times in picking placed to eat(hes very picky) and him saying he didnt care I booked Chef De France for this night. Well 3 weeks prior to the trip he reads the Menu and says "there is nothing there I want to eat" GRRRRR so what do I do spend the next 3 weeks on the phone 4-5-6 times a day trying to change this reservation but everything is booked. now its the day of the trip and still nothing so know what do we do (my first choice was leave him in the room to starve) we decide to just wing it and and go with my back up ...... Which is Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace.
After reading all the good reviews I figured this would be the best place to try. So off we went.... The resturant is very nice it has indoor (limited) and outdoor seating it looks a little more fancy then most Cs places. one of the things that was so nice here is you order get your drinks and have a seat and they bring you the food no trying to look like a circus clown juggling trays and trying to find a seat.
The food was Fantastical (one of my silly made up word feel free to use it just be prepaired to get weird looks if your not at Disney

)
I had the Chicken Tortilla Melt this was so good it was this HUGE thick tortilla wrap with Chicken,Cheese,Bell peppers and Onions with a mild taco sauce in it. (this is where i need pics words dont do it justice) it was extremly good. it come with a side of sour creme cole slaw but I dont like cole slaw so I cant say how it was.
DH had the BBQ Chicken Pizza it was quite big the toppings where bbq chicken,cheese,Tomoatoes, and had cilantro sprinkled on top. He enjoyed it and said it was the best pizza he has ever eaten on Disney property. Yea he does love disney.
DM had the Chicken Alfredo this came with a small side salad the alfredo was in a big bowl that seemed endless. there was alot of sauce on it and it was cooked perfectly. the salad was good with lettuce and tomatoes not big but who need a big salad when you have all that alfredo.
DD7 got the kids Cheese pizza it was a nice looking pizza the cheese was so thick, they did not spare any cheese here.(Im sure Mickey and Minnie love this pizza)she loved it and ate most of it. it was a good size pizza for a kid.
DD5 had her favorite food Chicken fingers and fries. She got a huge bowl filled with fries that had 3 fingers on top of it. the fingers where not everyday chicken nuggets they had a light almost like a bread crumb coating on them and where not greasy at all and those fries well we where all glad she got this we all loved the fries they are herb seasoned and where awesome not one bit greasy.
For dessert everyone but me got cookies there where 2 kinds to choose from chocolate chocolate chip DD5 got this and chocolate chip Dh Dm dd7 got this one. they where big but hard the girls didnt like them Dh ended up eating all 4 of them during the weekend. (hes good for somethink

)
Me I decided to be brave and try something new and got the Creme Brulee and boy was I glad I did it was so wonderful in fact it was so good everyone was dipping there spoon in it and wishing they had got it. it was cooked perfect it was sweet and creamy but not overly so. It was soooo yummy and I was in Dessert Heaven!!!!! untill everyone ate it and it was gone.
I didnt have one complant about this meal the portions you get are huge and its hot and cooked fresh its the best counter service meal for the
DDP or out of pocket (meals are big enought to share). We will be going back its on our will do again list.
So now we are all full but goofys candy store is calling out to the girls and I was wanting to let them make their own candy so off we went. this place is very neat the girls had a blast creating their own candy. They both got the Oreo cookie and i dont mean the little ones you get in the pack this one covered the palm of hand plus some and was about 3 inches high.
DD7 got hers dipped in milk chocolate covered in rainbow sprinkles then had white chocolate drizzled over it...
DD5 got hers dipped in milk chocolate dipped in rainbow sprinkles on one side then dipped in M&M on the other side and just when you sweet enough it was drizzled in white chocolate and milk chocolate (she LOVES Chocolate)
