I got tickets for her March 28th concert here at Proctors Theater here in Schenectady...

I'm in the cloud club seats... but I'm inside and I'm

(of course I'll have to hit the good bakery next to the theater after... )

Woo hoo !!

We dearly LUV Linda Eder !

We've been lucky enough to see her three times here in Sarasota, and each show has been nothing short of a delight.

After one show, she came out into the lobby and signed copies of her Cd's and generally 'schmoozed' with the admiring throng. She thanked us for coming to her show and even gave my partner a little hug. She is as beautiful inside as she is out, and has a voice that sounds like a little slice of heaven.

Kevin... you wouldn't BELIEVE what they've done with Proctors... they reopened it 4 years ago after a $23 million renovation... they enlarged the stage so we now get road shows from Broadway... first one to come was Phantom (with the chandelier...) and sold out 81,000 seats. Then we got Spamalot and Mamma Mia... We get all kinds of concerts and last year they opened the Iwerks theater. http://www.proctors.org/iwerks

After she was mentioned on the Podcast I checked her out on iTunes, this is one of the songs I downloaded along w/ The Impossible Dream and some Christmas tunes. I crank it up in my car and sing along, but I'm really awful.

She doesn't hit that money note anymore!!

But I love her too! When she came to Buffalo, she was light on the showtunes and HEAVY on Judy Garland. LOTS and LOTS of Judy's stuff.

You'll have a great time! She's not only a great singer, the show itself is just really entertaining!!
