Well DH said last week he didn't know what to get me for my birthday and did I mind if he didn't get me anything!!! But that he would take me to New York for four nights instead and would I be OK with that, well I said YES.
So we are off in Feb over Valentines day and my birthday. It will be strange not seeing the WTC on the skyline as I did in 1992. So as it's been over ten years since I was last there has anyone got any must do's or must see's???
We are planning to see a Broadway show possibly Mamma Mia where is it best to get good priced tickets, preferably in advance so we know it's all booked before we go???
Thanks
Claire :D

Hi Claire,

I'm sure you'll have a great time. Safest place for Mamma Mia tickets would probably be Telecharge (www.telecharge.com). They act as the official ticket agency, I think. You should be able to collect the tickets at the box office when you reach NY.

You could wait until you get there, and try the ticket booth in Times Square, but I didn't see Mamma Mia listed as available when we were there earlier this year.

Thanks for the reply PeeBee I had looked at Telecharge and will now most probably use them.
Have a great time away as I see your countdown clock is near to zero!!!!!!! Were are you staying??

Glad to help - saw Mamma Mia in London, and would have to say it's probably my fave musical. I didn't expect to be dancing away by the end, but then virtually everybody is!

We've got a busy little trip planned - one night at Coronado Springs (always wanted to try this place, but never had a chance till now), then 8 nights at Port Orleans Riverside, and finally 6 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Wow - when I type it all together like that it sounds like loads! :bounce:

Big thing for this trip is that my DW is going to be 4 months pregnant :D, so we will be doing things at a different pace to usual, and taking much more notice in strollers and babies on the plane, I think!
